To PB: Tone definitely is a bit better. edit: mainly in response to Salmiakkikossu Formal complaint processes are put in place for a reason, to be used. I believe in exactly the opposite of sit down and shut up. Eventually the subtler things build up and eventually escalate, even if your voice is si...

Justified? Yes. But... A big part of dealing with school, especially in the private Catholic school I went to, has to do with putting up with other peoples' bullshit. Most importantly teachers. A lot of them are totally full of it and total asswipes. I tried to deal with some of my school issues in ...

Sorry but Avast slowed my system down to almost slower than a hot turd trying to roll up a snowy hill Must be a slow system to begin with....I'm running it and have no problems. You can tailor the services. Agreed. Avast is NOTICABLY less process heavy than almost all of its competitors. There isn'...

That'd be the one. I've played there.

Anyway, there's been a fair bit of thieving noobs lately. They also don't listen when told anything. Just find a private spot to jug your shit if they're on the server.

Not to contradict kanabanoid, who is pretty much right. All I'm saying is there's a separate, "new" DNS issue going around that is an exploit that affects DNS servers. These servers will then feed client machines (ie, yours and mine) bad DNS redirects to hostile sites...they will not make any change...

it is and only way i know of to stop it is to have a paid for virus scanner if not you will have to know how to look for and remove it from your reg So horribly untrue. Both AVG and Avast are excellent alternatives to Norton/Mcafee and their ilk. In Avast's casts, it's just plain better software. I...

I hate to thread necro but this is somewhat related. There's a new exploit/virus going around that's poisoning DNS servers running DHCP service. Basically it will redirect any DHCP clients to some really really bad sites. If you use DHCP to get your IP addresses on your network, I strongly recommend...

I intend to pick up Left4Dead at some point but it's going to be a while.

I've also been playing Dystopia Mod (free!!!) for a long while now and if you guys like team-based games and/or Cyberpunk themes, that mod is a MUST PLAY. It's very polished, even by HL2 Mod standards.
