Yeah monkey welcome!
Some things to help you get started:
search the forum (button near top) for keybinds and player guide
Also, the FIRST thing you want to do is max out the Denial and Ghost or Resurrection skills. The first lets you keep your weapon when you die. The second gives you a second life each wave.
Finally, until you're about level 100, you might want to consider hiding after wave 15. You'll just die. And on this server, the difficulty of the monsters that spawn is based upon the average level of surviving players. So even though you might not be able to kill anything (based on your Damage Bonus) you will at least be helping out everyone else just by staying alive. There have been a couple of n00bs on the server lately that have been harassing low-level players for doing this. Don't pay them any attention - usually they'll get kickvoted for being a**holes anyhow.
Once you get an idea of how weapons of power (WOP) and powerups (PU) work, don't hesitate to ask for a powerup if you need one (the infinity PU being one of the most useful). If you ask nicely, if someone has a spare, they'll hand it over. TEAMWORK IS THE KEY.
Also, if you have any questions that you can't find answers for by searching the forums, please don't hesitate to ask here in the forums. I say ask in the forums because trying to answer questions in-game can be a distraction, often leading to death for those who try to answer them, and in turn map loss. And as you probably already know, we want to WIN the maps/wave 20, because that means 1000xp for every player (dead or alive).
