New Patch 180 Ranking System

I have yet to propose this to joeyz, but this is what I have come up with for the new ranking system. As you can see it is drastically different from our current ranking system and therefore we have to RESET ALL LEVEL STATS and everyone starts fresh at level 1. The server will have its own ranking system now, and to make all of this work each monster you kill will only give you 1 experience point (score board scores will stay the same).

The new system will have a new promotion system (visible symbols above the player's head in game) based off the the US Army ranking system. Here is how it works...

Now here is how many experience points it will take you to get from level 1-500(Private to 4 Star General). Because UT2004RPG deletes your experience each time you rank up instead of carrying it over (IE: Level 1 Start: [0/5], Level 2 Finish: [5/5], Level 2 Start: [0/10] instead of Level 2 Start: [5/10]), I had to devise something different than "normal". I did this to conform with the BF2 ranking system. http://bf2awards.com/ranks/. As you can see there, as you rank it starts easy then gets harder, then a little easier, then harder, then easier. I carried over this concept in the ranking system below. Some of them look like this "150~26". The 1st number relates to the rank and how many points you will have had to accumulate this far as shown above in the BF2 link (In this case 150 is the number of points to be become a PFC). The 2nd number is actually how many experience points you need to get to that level. And as always, please let me know what you think by giving this a vote. And as a reminder, this poll is not to show your like / dislike of us having to reset the stats. This poll is only for how you like the new system:

Just like now your current levels / rank are saved and carried over to the next map.

So is it still going to take forever to level once a player reaches 300+, like it is now? If it is I would maybe add more ranks if possible after 300 cause it would take so much friggin work.
Also the new rank system hasnt started on the dev. server right? I'm assume there will be an official reset day? : )

I think that those that have been at level 300+ maybe even lower, should have their level manually adjusted..... not really interested in working 2 - 3 years to get to the current level that I am at now... seriously, NOT happy with the lvl reset

the summon table, even if many say it doesnt exist anymore, is still there, it just looks like its different for every player
and as fast the one figured out on what weapon at which slot to set the summon, the one will be the lucker again and pissing of the others... im still sure its NOT luck and hope this negative "feature" is fixed... we will see if the permanent 20k-scorers
still have that "luck" and be level 300 in 2 month while all others who play every day still "lag" around level 150 after 1 year...

No the new rank system in this post isn't in the dev server. I just did some tests to try to estimate how long it will take you to reach 300,000 kills to get to level 500.

I just played a round locally and received 1110 kills. Let's say on average the server is half full, that would be 111 kills per person per map. Let's say the average person plays 3 maps a day, that would be 333 kills per day. To get 300,000 points it would take you 900 days, or just under 2.5 years to reach level 500. I think that is pretty reasonable. And you can go past level 500, it just scales at a percent from there. You don't get any higher rank, but you will get more stat points.

I just looked at the summon powerup code and I assure you there is no table. There are no checks to see "If weapon is a bio rifle then give magic wand", or anything like that. It is completely random.

By the way everyone this is expansive past level 500. So we can then roll you over into new ranks at level 501.
