Number of Weapon Summons
In these forums someplace I've read that having more then one summons on a gun will produce better weapons (I think the thread says something like "Super weapons will come with 2 or more summons)".
A couple of different people in game have told me that was the case long ago (before one of the Joey updates) but isn't the case now.
Is that true? Does it not matter how many summons you have?
I've tried to test this myself but its so rare that I get even 1 summons, but in the times that I have been able to test it, it appears I've gotten a better weapons with 2 summons then I have with one (of course I can count on 1 hand how many times I've gotten 2 summons to test).

it used to, but no longer. ah, the days of putting two summons on a shock wop, and having a ~ 30% chance of getting a wand.. cryAnalog wrote: Is that true? Does it not matter how many summons you have?

Not anymore, of course you'll get the "experts" claiming otherwise but they are wrong.Renegade wrote:Something I've been wondering in regards to summons
Does the weapon you put it on make a difference in what you might end up with?
Yea, I know, a bit of necroposting, but the thread isn't that far down and didn't want to make a new one
If you lost your cd and have the old drive and have not reinstalled UT2004 or reformatted the drive, you can find your old cd key in the registry here ...
