dunno what your plan is for gold wrench in future, what level is needed to get it or how long in weeks it needs till gold is available. i cant tell how many maps i tried to play but how can someone survive when you get only like 1 slowpowerd or slow firing wop in 3-4 maps, and gold wrench and/or magic-weapon-maker dont drop.
many maps have not really good hiding spots, and with my actual lvl 14 it nearly looks like beeing 200+ in 179. so all i can do is running away or try hiding for 4-5 minutes till commander is available... and if i have it, it doesnt help really atm, except for getting some ammo, heal, supplycrate or vehicle to hide behind them, or killing myself with nuke or artilleriestrike.

so just a suggestion if in future it still needs that long beeing NOT able to built or pick a wop, except some actual high leveld 330+ players from patch179 "force" again the other players to suicide or dis/reconnect as much as possible just to phish a wop.
"a wop".. and not "a rejuve flak"... could be interesting to see all these players getting rejuve weapons but noone has gold
and the only way to get a wop is trying the mwm and it turns the rejuve into a wop "zero", hahaha...

what about the commander gets a special commanders mwm instead of the nuke in first levels, and the nuke some lvls later?
with special com.mwm i mean, trying to create (lownumbered...! like max. wop+5 ) wops, and use of adrenalin is not 100, it should be more like 25-50, and not breaking, like the normal mwm, so at least there would be a bit higher chance to create wops that way in the first waves and the surviving chance to at least beeing able to get into wave 4 (to be kiled by vader then ;) )

most "older" players take it as normal having gold as buyable ability, so if they now need very long to get that, they will only play ssr and camp the redeemer maps again, cause that way they can kill more without creating a wop.

btw. wave 6-8, thousands of collected pus and no gold, no mwm, an opend crate WITH NO WOP, and not a single other wop to put at least an inf and prot5 in it, really su##s.

or in other words, i hope settings will not be like all players have to play 1000 maps for 3000 kills because more than 3 kills
per map isnt possible when all always die in first wave...

i mean.. i tried that now a long time without godmode or wands, its not so "easy money" like it looks...

I have had this idea for patch 181 with the wrenches that would be cool. It changes the gold a bit and adds another type of wrench.
So I guess ill plug it here too.

Blue Wrench = same
Purple Wrench = same
Silver Wrench = Pretty much what a gold wrench is now.
Gold Wrench = "Golds" but also adds up to +5.

So for example you pick up a Flak Cannon of Healing +5, You would apply this new Gold to it and it would become a Flak Cannon of Power + 10.
Or you pick of a Rocket Launcher of Energy +2, It would then become a Rocket Launcher of Power +7.

It also cannot exceed +10 so if you have a Minigun of Force +6, it would only go up the 4 slots to become a Minigun of Power +10.

We could also look into changing the drop rate of these wrenches, and possibly adjusting the WoP chance slightly.

Platinum Wrench (super rare, and drop artifact only.) = Turns any positive weapon (No negatives or misfortunes) to a WoP +10 with extra slots.

I like idea of the Silver and newly changed Gold Wrench Idea. Also If you were to make the Platinum Wrench and add it to the game could you make it randomly drop 1 in waves 1-9 and 1 in wave 10-18. Once you get the wave 19 the need for more slots or the need to change WoP are less messed with since it really to late in the game then.

Would add a lot to weapon variety and increasing the chance of you being able to use your favorite weapon.

blue wrench should be able to "fix" a medic wepaon and turn it into a regular weapon so you can use it as a wop when beeing golded. i dont care if its a wop "0" then, im just pissed some times i medic a wep by accident when in hurry and theres no time to find or change weps to medic another to be able to get a new one esp in last waves when joining late...

silver wrench, hmm? i remember i had a post about that looong time.. need to look if that picture is still available here...

Is the blue wrench usable after the Medic Weapon Maker is used on the Dev server? I don't recall. If not, that would be a great one to try and fix. I'll use the MWM and make most of my weapons into NEGS and still run around with the medic gun and put what I want to keep on a gun I wont use till I die. I do like the idea of the silver/gold wrench.
