Ok so its obviouis that nowadays its easy to get ridiculous high scores because the newer monsters give more points per kill. That plus the right setting, anything can happen. I just played a very hard map to score hard on, dust 2k5. It is very long with lots of pathways, so you cant just kill everything on the map at once. You have to run around and kill everything in sight. I was feeling selfless when I got an AK 47 and ssr mini at the same time on wave 3, so I gave the ssr min I had made and suicided for gold since the ak is untossable. I then proceeded to get a loaded AK+6 extra slots by wave 8, I was definitly getting lucky. Everything I killed was dropping damage rage heal infs ss etc. I even ended up gettin 3 total ssr that i gave away that map with nos uper lucky or magic pu. I was definitly dominating with the ak, with +9 damage 2 rage 1 freeze and enough protection heal and shields to survive anything. After this game I am truly convinced that the AK is the best gun on the server when used to its full potential. If you have bad aim the ssr is better obviously because its spammy, but with aiming the AK can take down a clumped mob of 10 monsters in 1/2 a second by firing quickly from side to side of the mob.

Now check this SS out. This was the high score at the server when the ak and ssr were added back, up until the recent patch where those new pu and shit where added. I had 1332 kills which is without a doubt the most anyone has ever killed in one game but only had about 15,500 and this game I just played I had 855 kills and yet still had 14,500 points. Obviously things have changed, but I know one of these days I will get back about the 1300 kill mark and get a 25k score SO YOU JUST WAIT!




Also, I was just wondering if anyone had got a massively good score without a superweapon. I had past accumulated scores 12k+ including the 17,200 score with 18 players and only wave 19-20 artifacts using only a shotgun or laser rifle (which definitly arent super weapons compared to most of todays guns). Everything I've seen is wand or ssr mini and loads of artifacts rather than pure skill! I am putting the challange out there to see who can pwn the most with a flak or rl powerup or a non super weapon etc.

border holds the best no artifact score from his wand in neinfinal map with 18k. i was there since wave 18 too, so i know he didn't use anything on the last waves, not even damage artifact. so far i have had two near 18.5 k scores, which artifacts were used, ice rune and lightning rod for each of those. both were large maps too. so! that 25k score will only happen on a smaller, more confined map.

i got 12k+ with fireball yesterday, with no artifacts. it was only due to nukes killing majority of people one 3-4 waves and leaving me and a couple others left.

i am curious too what some nice scores can be with other weps. my best recent combat shotgun score was yesterday on boomboombridge at being 9700-something and mini-rl at 9200 on the one tornado-like sand prymaid map. i can't recall any other. i won't post any super weps scores unless its beats 18,500, with or without artifacts. but i will see about non supahweps o..o

anyhoo, here is my recent score! got enhanced ssr power 7 wave 6. and that damn weps chest was open wave 15, so 2 people ran around with wands, one heavy ssr and one regular mini ssr, and a laser rifle were stealing my kills! of course, one of the rare times i find a lightning rod to use and the crate gets open for the first time i actually see it

oh, i did want to add a couple things! first, your score is actually damn good and impressive for the dust map. it is a larger one and has dedicated paths and obstacles than so much openness, so getting what you did was rather well done!

you also know yourself how ssr mini is not as good now, since you gave them away? :} i will use ssr mini if its the only thing, but its not as intensely overpowered as it once was. however...i am not sure how the red one is..i hear it has more beams or something..so that could be like the old one perhaps?

ak probably is the best weapon because of a couple things..its vampability along with strength..and its splash damage and ability to have on rages. the wand has no splash, and vamping with slow wand alt fire can be a pain in tough situations of low hp and high enemy fire. but i still feel wand is the very best weapon because at the same pu +10 damage, it is still stronger and will kill majority of high hp things in a single shot with propulsion on it, while ak wil take around 3-5 shots (which is like not much longer since it fires so fast!). the wand also allows for visual cue aim readjustment much better since it is hard to see the ak shots come out and where they are going relative to enemies and how the enemies move. so i guess..both are the best! but when a map lags badly, the wand tends to get to target better i have found, while lady, ak, and fireball and such seem to just screw up badly at such choppy times

Well technically my 25k score is the best no artifact score, but I don't believe it's really worth talking about it beyond that fact that it's at least possible to score that high. I used the wand early on around wave 3-5 in that hall of thorns map, also there really weren't many people either, furthermore I died : ( I'd post a screen but ehhh...

Blue were have u been?I need to see screenshots of the 25k score for me to believe it sorry but seeing is believing.
