Hello Everyone,

Just incase everyone isn't aware our BF3 server has been pre-ordered!! As exciting as this is we also now have a new set of challenges ahead of us. BF3 is drastically different than BF2. We have the new Frostbite2 engine that is capable of bringing us day and night time maps, awesome new vehicles, and new maps! Since we at Gaming Madness host our servers with the publics interest in mind it would only be fitting that we get your opinion on what you would like to see in your new BF3 server. So if you have any ideas or suggestions at all please feel free to post. Your feedback is very important to us and together I am confident we will be able to become the best damned BF3 server on the internet.

What will the result of this poll dictate? Well In the month up to the Back To Karkand release I will be fumbling around with the server settings and getting feedback. The highest rated options here will be one of the most heavily considered and most tested. Based on feedback and gameplay I will decide what final configuration our server will have for BF3.

Do it all and if it sucks we can tweak it later :D

We don't need to tweak 3D Spotting, and Kill Cam... Play BC2
3D spotting is pretty much ESP/Wall hack, and Kill Cam gives your position away...

What about a GamingMadness goes "Back to Karkand" 24/7 I/O BF3 server?

The same setup you have now, only a BF3 version. Of course some thunder storms and getting dark would be cool too.

We definitely will be hosting Karkand for sure. The only problem is Karkand comes out one month after BF3 is released so we will need to choose a BF3 retail map for the first month. And some people might grow attached to it and want to play it along with Karkand. Heck there might even be a map better than Karkand even though that's hard to believe since Karkand is the best ever.

Could always do a map rotation, or have a non karkand day. Just need someone to start one profile and start the other at the right time.

This is true but someone will have to stay on top of that. It's definitely something to consider though. I plan on messing around with the settings first month anyway until we find something we really like.
