Stupid piece of sh1t game won't install. I click the "ready to install" button in Origin and it pretends to install, but after 2 mins it just stops and the stupid button lights up again (ready to install).

I have no idea where Origin is holding the installer hostage or I'd delete it and try to download the piece of sh!t again.

All I did was pop in the disc and click auto run. It registered it to origin then I clicked install.

So you already downloaded the game but it won't install right?

If that's the case then the game can be found in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battelfield3

I don't know if you did already but try disabling your firewall when you download and install the game this time.

So the game wasn't where it was supposed to be

but instead under c:/electronic arts/battlefield 3

Deleted, ran the down loader/installer over night. Yay it finally installed

Booo stupid ass battlelog tells me the damn plugin is missing or disabled, when I know for a fact it's right fvcking there

So it doesn't work in FF and there's no place to change which browser origin or the game uses.

I"m too pissed off to try switching default browsers just now. I shouldn't fvcking have to, stupid dice and ea can eat sh!t.

all i did to install the plug in was - click on the game manager (bottom left side) then it installs on its own. i am using chrome btw. there was some people having this issue ill read up on it and repost for u ZS.

i am having some problems of my own as well. BF3 stops working and i have to restart it.

I have been reading alot of the problems on their forums they better fix right away or they are going to loose lots of people. they are having lots of connection issues, sli issues, and crashing issues.

Also make sure to update your origin. when Origin is open and it says Origin Beta at the top then u need to update it. if it says origin prerelease then u are ok for now

. to update - click on costomize and control, settings, scroll down to prerelease participation and check the first box (update to prerelease version). hit apply, then shut down origin and restart it. upon restart it will auto update to the newer version. This fixes some issues with games (so they say anyway

z).

btw if u have a anti virus runing disable it, esp avast, they are having lost of issues with antivirus and the game.

zombie - try to turn off your active x filtering in your browser.. losts of people are saying to do that and it will work.

if not u can update it manually by installing this battlelog-web-plugins-1.96.0-retail-prod.

just google it and install it. or try this link
