If it is just for the limited edition, I am gonna have to buy it, and hold on to it until I actually play the game...
So I can play Karkand.

It will be available 1 month after the limited edition release to be bought as DLC. So if you can't get the LE BF3 then 1 month after the game comes out the Karkand DLC will be available for purchase.
