The next time the next the next time... same story as always PB - I've heard it all before, and I am sure the next time I have to PM you about Border harassing me - which I know I will because i know he will - I know the same thing will happen - NOTHING, because that's all you've done so far.

On top of that, I am simply stunned that all these people have complained about Border, many on multiple occasions, and still there has been no retribution to Border. So is he getting one "official" warning for each player he harasses, to the point where he has 4-5 such "warnings"?

You know if YOU were the one he was giving shit to he'd be out on his ear without any warnings because you're an almighty admin. But he kisses your ass and ZombieSlayer's ass because he knows you can do that to him - everyone else he act like a little shit to because he knows (A) we, as non-admins, CAN'T to anything about it, and (B) the "real" admins (YOU, Paint) WON'T do anything about it regardless of how many of us non-admins complain to you about him.

Get some1 who's willing to do the censored job if you don't have the time or inclination to do it properly yourself.

And this whole "I'm on a time constraint" excuse is just that - a BS EXCUSE. It's takes 2 seconds to realize "Hey, a lot of people believe Border needs to be banned, maybe there is something to this" and then flip the swtich that bans him. Nope, you'd rather tell us to just ignore his constant rulebreaking because it takes that much less effort. God forbid you do take any action that contributes something that so many players have been seeking for such a long time.

The only reason I stick around is because of the community of people here that DO play like a team - which is, of course, the vast majority of them. Trust me, if I could get them to convert en masse to UT3 so I could get them to come to NIR's server and play with me there (or hellz, even TF2 on a server somewhere - so long as every1 was there), I would drop this server like a bad habit, because your actions as an admin (or lack thereof) leave such a bad taste in my mouth.

Simply put, Border's a piece of garbage that needs to be dumped at the curb like garbage should be dumped. This is not just my opinion, this is the CONSENSUS of opinions - LOOK AT THE POLL. And if you want to ban me because stating the collective opinion of the group as "harassment", please do so and watch what happens.

I have been reluctant to post on this. Been trying real hard to stay out of trouble.

As far as border I dont know why this guy is still around. I have been harrased by him in the past via pm's on the forum, which Paint knows about and in game by him and I have have watched him harrass others. He loves to just sit in spec mode and stir up all kinds of crap. I have personally seen him make threats of violence to other people. Border has two catagories of people he targets-

1. Those who do not kiss his butt
2. Those who outscore him in game

Something I have been wondering about for a long time. He made a post on the forum months ago where he bragged about beating up a 15 year old child. Here is the link(its the 9th post down on the first page)-

According to border he did this because the kid broke into his house and then made some other BS remarks about the kid. Of course this is borders story and we will never know the truth. Anyway, why would he ever make a post like this? Did he think he impressed anyone? To me it just goes to show how trully unstable the guy is. And it seems to me this screwball that likes to beat children has been allowed to terrorize and harrass the people that play here.

A line has got to be drawn. A statement made. This guy needs to be removed forever. This is a great community. Many good people here. Border is not a part of it and never will be.

My dad always says that you cant talk sense into an ignorant person, but I will try. Banning someone from the forum is not as easy as banned and dont say anything after. Its a process in order to avoid confusion and added drama. If you are going to ban someone you have to point out what they are doing and why you are choosing the action you are choosing based on what was done. So not having enough time to deal with it I gave some advice and hoped that you and border would just ignore each other like adults (this is still the main point, you just cant bring yourself to ignore someone ignorant you have to throw gasoline into the fire). So you didnt follow the advice and now we are here. So as pointed out by a mass of people and not only beast border happens to be a problem. So, I will take care of it (those of you that say "well its about time" are a pain in the ass, time is a hard thing to find when life is still existing around you no matter what your doing or not doing). I will email border telling him hes banned for 1 month at the moment until you guys decide a more suitable punishment (dont just immediatly say forever, forever is a very long time).

I personally have never had a problem with border either in game or on the forums, but that is a specific personal experience. I didn't place a vote in this poll, because this issue shouldn't be any type of "Popularity" vote. People may vote for no other reason than the fact that they don't like the guy, and I'd rather just stick to the issue.

If in fact border has been harassing any other board members, he should at the very least, have been given a temporary ban from the forum and all game/voice servers. Harassing is unacceptable.

However, it's my opinion that people should have the opportunity to correct any bad behavior or actions. After being told specifically what rules or guidlines they have violated, and given an "un-ban" date, if he came back and continued with violating the same rules, then he should be permanently banned.

However, the other side of it is this.....If at any time you PM'd border with an inflamatory response or message....then you are partly responsible. I'll say this...and it can apply to everyone....not just you Beast. If someone sends you harassing PM's or posts harassing threads about you, you have two choices...

Option 1. Respond to the PM or thread. If you're able to, ask them nicely to please stop, because their statements are offensive, inappropriate, and against forum rules. Simply tell them that if it continues, you'll notify admins. Respond only once, if they reply with anything other than "OK", DO NOT reply back to them!!! Make a copy of the PM text of take a screen shot of the PM...and send it to an admin as evidence. Usually, if the persons statements or comments about or to you are that bad, a response will only invite more drama.

Option 2. Don't respond at all. Simply send a copy of the PM to an administrator, and let them handle it. That's what we're here for.


I can only speak for myself, but when it comes to issues of this nature, I try to get them resolved ASAP so that continued drama is at an absolute minimum.

Since this is the forum, and not the game server, I'm only newly a moderator here I don't know if I have the ability to ban anyone from the site. But I will say this Beast, from now on...if you have a problem like this again...you can come to me...and I'll pay attention to you. I'm not implying that the admins were ignoring you, and this isn't an excuse of anything....but sometimes people do get incredibly busy with their lives outside of gaming...and getting help has the possibility of being a lengthy process time wise. I think the sort of problem you had Beast is one of the reasons that I was added on as a moderator, so if something arises in the future for anyone, please feel free to PM me about it, and I will do whatever I can to help you.

But remember, actions taken against forum members and server players is going to be at the discretion of the administrator that is handling the issue. It may or may not be an action that you agree with...but discussing the issue with the administrator can help you to understand why an action was taken, or not taken regarding your issue.

One of these days, I may get the stick outta my butt...and start using the in game voice chat. I normally don't use it because I'm usually on TS and the chat and noise from the game tends to interfere with me hearing TS
