Oh noes, I'm banned

Hello there everyone! heh I emailed joey first and his email was deactivated....that was probably stupid of me not to check the forums first...Anyway I really enjoy your server and the people on it *cough**angeldust*...However, I've been recently banned for some remarks I made to Dia...I think. I believe my words were along the lines of 'shizzling in someones dizzle', in those exact words. Anyway, I understand that insulting people in such a way deserves a ban, which I would generally accept, but I wasn't given a warning. No one typed anything that had anything to do with telling me to stop. Atleast I dont remember doh Which is why I believe I've been wronged...or whatever. You don't have to unban me, just respond, or if you'd like you can punish me by resetting my level :D Anyway please reply so I know that you people don't totally hate me. Also, lemme know if my sig is too big, I'm not very conscious of size when I'm making those things....

First bans are a week long. So for now just sit tight and I'll look into it.

Well I accept this ban proudly, however I think you missed my point...or maybe I didn't emphasize it enough...I'm weird like that. What I was saying is that admins need to know that someone is actually being hurt by what is said, especially in a case like mine where I didn't even curse (yay censorship!). For example, if one says 'haha, arget you're such a nubcake', one obviously wouldn't be insulted by this (atleast I wouldn't), so should said person be punished even though the victim wasn't harmed in any way and there was no ill intent?
Also, I believe admins need to give a warning before randomly banning people, especially in similiar scenarios such as the one above (mine). If they stop, then the problem is solved without one week of boredum and space on your forums being wasted.....you have very nice forums by the way 8) However, if the person is gonna be an [censored] about it, or choose to ignore your warning, then obviously a temporary (or permanent) ban is necessary. This would also help the people new to the server who are too caught up in the game to look at the server rules, such as people like me :D .

To reiterate, I accept my ban without any problem, so don't get on me for this. I'm just throwing some suggestions out there cause, you know, I'm banned and I got nothing else to do

the A word....maybe I shoulda said butt or something. And I also said I accepted my ban, quite happily. I got other things to do anyway (stupid report on Mexico doh ) and I do more playing than just Invasion....Yay ictf! So like....I wasn't flipping out or anything, just stating my opinion. I hope this doesn't sound like im trying to start an arguement or make a comeback....

By the way, no offense, but the weather sucks around these parts nerd

Second. Most of the time you won't be warned for chat based bans. If you need to know more, PM Joey, CJ or any other mod.

Third. It's refreshing to have someone accept a ban without flipping out for once d=)

but yeah, i like to read this part of the forums alot because its funny to see ppl bitch and moan saying its a crappy reason and all. But they gotta understand rules are rules. Some admins are lenient some aren't. But its nice to see someone accepting their temp banned fate ^^. rather than making the situation worse than it was.
