My IP is banned

Hello, when I try to play it says that my IP was banned from the server and I have no idea why. This is the first time this happened. I never had an argument with anyone and I follow the rules so if someone can allow me to play or tell me if I did anything wrong that would be nice. Thank you.

Your IP isn't banned on the server. Have you been sharing your CD-Key with someone else? If thats so then they could be on our ban list, thus banning you also. Kanabanoid was just recently banned for unconcluded reasons but if you shared your key with him then thats why you are banned.

No, I have not shared my cd-key with anyone. But the key that I'm using is not my original key that I had. Last year when I applied a patch it wouldn't let me play the game so I reinstalled it and put a different cd-key (I got from the internet
) in and it worked. So that might have something to do with it.

my cd key is mine and only mine i have the box cd's and the recept. as i stated b4 i beleave i was banned for no reason. and as of yet no reason haz been given

I am not sure what is going on then. Your name isn't in our banlist and neither is your IP Address. So you shouldn't be banned at all. The only thing I can think of is that Epic may have a list of known compromised CD-Keys (like the one you downloaded) and may have it banned it globally. That is more than likely the situation. If I were you I would just pick up your own copy of UT2004. Heres 2 copies I just found online:

This is a ton of Unreal games for cheaper. Just no UT3, but it looks like 2004 and all the others older than it.
