Hey there,

I am Suspiria, 19 yrs old, UT2004-FREAK.. Currently hosting Convoy-Demo server, (FragCity - Core2Duo) and pretty soon prolly an Invasion RPG server. Although there are enough of those at this point, so I might just keep my li'l demo server. (^_^)

I love to do things like that, create, configure, install UT servers, using the freakiest mods\mutators I can find. Though when bored with UT sometimes, I do other things like programming in C or Delphi. Or I just go play another game. (I've been playing WoW for a while, LOL LOL LOL -.- )

Now I read what you guys are all up to concerning the UT3 Invasion plans, and I am really going to try and help. So that's one of the main reasons why I'm here on this forum. Ofcourse Joey's Server OWNS bigtime, but I still get oneshotted in wave 2.. :p

one question - are you male or female?

Some helpful hints:

First, as soon as you get to level 25, BUY & MAX DENIAL! Save up points for a couple of levels beforehand so you can max that ASAP!

Next, until you get to about level 50, for the most part you'll want to hide. Believe it or not this actually helps everyone else, since the level of monsters that spawn is equal to the average level of players ALIVE. So if you can stay alive and bring that average down by doing so, then you're helping out a lot. Trust me, it gets kinda hard when the only living players are over level 200 and monsters are still spawning! LOL!

Next, if you are able to in your environment, allow voice chat - even if you don't have a mic. A lot of stuff goes out over voice that never goes out in text.

Finally, if you need a powerup, just ask. Sometimes you might want to ask twice in a wave, preferably in a row, as the voice chatters (such as myself) don't always see every line of text chat that goes by. Three times in a wave though starts to get a little excessive.

Other than my standard message of searching these forums for "keybinds" and "player guide", that's all the quick hints I have for now. Good luck, and I hope to see you in game soon!

Heh here is some more tips

If you get a weapon of power (we call these wops) be sure to put a retention on "IF" you don't have lvl 2 of denial, as this will help keep you from losing your gun. You might still do this just in case you was checking your weapons or try to get a new gun, just cause you might die real quick before you know it but this way you will still have your gun. Beware of lava cause sometimes people have been known to lose all guns, denial and retention weapons included. Also, if you hear people talking about 4 letters, W,A,N,D, those are green letters that fall from monsters that can be collected and when used by one person, they spell WAND, which is a gun that looks like an orange shock rifle that shoots an orange beam with main fire and alt-fire shoots these little shots. Note that this gun is very powerful and monsters get these too.

I hope these answer any questions you might not have had when you started but if you did know some of this well......... :-k =D> pbjtime

Bear in mind that Voice Chat may get some drama every now and again. Some players (like me) usually announce PUs in teamsay binds as well as through voice if they're valuable

Usually the start of the wave's a good time to start asking around. If you really need it, then you could get away with once in the middle as well.
