Yo, I'm Urartu, been playing on the server a short while, hat off to the players who helped me with WOPs and rules of the jungle so far.

I have lurked here a few times but recently I was told to come to the forum rather then simply being told why proxy mines are bad or something so I finally figured I'de sign up.

Love the server, a good time chewer and a good community of regulars it seems, short of the odd day of grumpyness, looking forward to the levels where I'm not too much a piece of monster chow.

I'm 22, from Scotland, I like lots of things, and hate others, can't really label myself too much in the self description stakes, I do however enjoy Archery and Airsoft when I can get it, and travelling is always good.

I am of course, a mediocre gamer as you can imagine, and aye, cheers for having me.

I look forward to wiping with you all. :partyman:

Alo urar! Yeah, we've seen each other ingame a few times, and it's been a pleasure! If ya have any questions, ask them here - or when I am dead ingame! LOL!

Tho I'm from 'cross the pond, you may notice I sometimes speak w/an accent. That's mostly DJ's fault ;-) but it's really from the many friends from overseas I have had and the too much BBC I watch influencing me too

Oh, and before you hear it from Knave - learn to play carball too. We play it often on this server, and better for you if you can stay and enjoy it rather than quit out because you don't know what you're doing and thus not having a good time with it.

welcome, and the answer for the proxys: like joey said: every proxy is a bot, so everything, directions of weaponfire, where do monsters move, friendly fire-players, which shoot at proxys (by accident or beeing pissed of them), splashdamages etc, all needs recources which, i say "can", not "it is", causing lag, depending on how many of them jumping and singing and fragging around... if you spam hundreds of them in later waves 15-20 you will see....

Now why would you go and ruin my fun? :axe: But it is quite true, and i am one of the few people who are willing to leave the server and go with you to an unpopulated carball server and try to teach you as many tricks as i know( though most of them i still have not mastered, i think General-Chainzl has actually gotten better than me..or my ping has gotten higher) This goes for everyone btw, i love a GOOD carball match, but far too often its more akin to bumpercars with a ball that randomly flies about when someone accidentally hit it instead of the player they were aiming for). If at all interested, either find me in game or add me on Skype(many of the regulars have it, not all leave it on regulalrly, usually if im home, its on..but im military, so i dissapear for months at a time) Skype name: Knave_Skye . Why thank you all for the warm welcomes and offers of help, much appreciated, the helpful nature of the server has helped to keep me and likely many others coming.

Sirbeast, its good to see a loyalist from the colonies.

Yeah, I've caught you around in the game, good times!.

Seen a good few of many others in this thread and forum to, in game, if your not sure if you remember me, just think back to a low lvl running around and hiding behind corners or in holes and generally fleeing an army of mobs in a Monty Python sketch fashion. :drool:
