It's a simple math puzzle. The answer is ALWAYS going to be associated with the ZZ (squiddled lines/Aquarius) symbol, as there are only a limited number of answers you can arrive at using this formula, regardless of your starting number.

It has repeating symbols. That and as beast said all these "Mind reading" puzzles are all designed to limit the number of actual answers.

Not really that special

SirBeast - nope, it changes. Press "Try again".

TheMadDJ - close, I think. There's a specific solution.

Ok its simple. Paint you cheated
Trust me I love numbers. If you create a number say 20 (2-/+0=2) {20-2=18}. image square.
say 55 (5+5=10) {55-10=45) image square. What its doing is giving you 1-99 but you can create number that is going to be anything but a square. Its a set up. I know some dont belive me but here is my proof and I will also tell you how to look. Numbers you can pick to beat the system. If you can end in this number you winand win 0-8, 10-17, 19-26, 28-35,
37-44, 46-50, 53, 56-62, 65-67, 69-73,75, 77-80, 82-99 (see if you can get those numbers, Its impossible) You can't take any set of a number forsay 18 (1+8=9) {18-9=9} any two numbers that you pick from 1-99 will produce these numbers 9,18,45,51,52,54,55,63,64,68,74,76,81. There everyone goes

Test it if you dont belive me..

That wasn't a challenege.

You'd be surprised!

And you are correct - the calculation always results in a multiple of 9. There's quite a few of these type things out there, such as the one where you guess a number, do all kinds of calculations involving your birth year, etc.

The trick is guiding the mind away from the obvious. However, for some people, the obvious isn't obvious.

Yeah, obvious if you don't follow the instructions!

Most people will pick *one* card, and disregard the rest completely. The focus on one item is why magic tricks work.

Although where that naked female magician hides the hanky, I have no idea...
