PSA WARNING: CineVision/GoVideo

Greetings sentients!
I am writing today to warn you to NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I bought a DVD Recorder VCR Combo of their over Christmas, and it just crapped out on me. Thing is, I still get SOUND, but no VIDEO, and I tried using MULTIPLE connections (RCA, Coax, etc) to see if anything else might work - same thing- sound, no video. On top of that, when I tried to call the customer service phone # on the back of manual, it was disconnected.
It REALLY cheeses me off that I am now out the $125 I spent on it, because I didn't bother to buy the service plan. So off I went today to Best Buy to buy a comparable device. The original cost was $142, but I had a coupon and some gift certificates, which brought the cost down to $99, but then I had to shell out $50 for a 4-year service plan, so I spent, all-told, $160 incl. taxes and 4-year service plan.
Again, don't give these rat bastards any of your money - you'd get a better value using it to start a campfire for warmth.
