Alright this is just a post for the veterans to talk about what they remember of back in the day. Here I won't spoil it all for you other vets but all I'm gonna say is...

back in the day...

reminisces about hiding on the top levels of large maps with my trusty flak cannon equiped with the newly released pepperpot pu, along with my eagled eye sniper of vorpal( +9 of course) to take out those pesky queens.
(secretly hoping to get a summons to get the almighty particle [text spam was never used back in the day]).

and ahh the maps, the maps were to die for. from the small but effective training day(still here but hardly ever played anymore), to giant arenas that would put the quiditch world cup to shame.
and such a variety of more medium sized maps.

the atmosphere: friendly with players always willing to help out, after all the roads were made of infinity, but that was not always needed early on if you happened to pick up your flak cannon of infinity+9
back in the day a pack of warlords was a thing to dread, and actually summoning a wand! a thing of glory! sure to get you that first place score.

presents and the turret launcher along with the ssr sentinels. The best two maps were prison and nightclub. Chaos ut mellee nights (now carball). Joey used to play every night. Me, joey, and hungrydeathdealer were your only 3 admins. Server name used to be "Joey's RPG Invasion Server - MP5, Shotgun, and Sentinels"

(this was easily 2.6-3 years ago some of you "vets" may not remember)

Omg, the atmosphere with all the players back then were at its best quester!, everyone giving out powerups whenever needed, even summons! but considering joey changed from joeyz invasion to MM it was all downhill from there with some of the new guys being negative 90% of the time. Sorry folks thats just the way it was. Kinda like the Walgreens commercial, used to be a perfect world.

But anyways..Lol airman remember D4L!? LOL
I also remember when you could stack 3 infs and have practically over 400 weapon speed.
I remember applying 3 Link spreads to a link of power and it annhilated, same thing with the bio.
I remember the Rocket Lancher with 2 spreads on was the best non-super weapon.
I remember of course the pepper pot gun and the razor bomb gun!
I remember when the sniper rifle was useful!
I remember when the razor bomb pu was the deadliest thing ever.
I remember when the shock cannon pu was very deadly as well.
I remember that you could apply 1 summons and get a summon weapon but not of power. 2 summons got you a summoned weapon of power. 3 summons got you a super weapon! And summons dropped all the time!

And paint I was just starting out on this community when hungrydeathdealer was really showing up anymore. Also showed up I think 2 months after you.

Yup. Used to be that @ the end of any given wave in default map (Goliath) you could goto the shock and see PUs raining down from players.

yeah this was SICK - and one of my favorites. That w/like 5 heals was insane... you almost couldn't take damage...

and the TDDrejuv10 ... sorely missed. Truly the n00biest of n00b weapons... no aiming required! W/d5 and vorpal... pwng

I Remember those days Border2 was lvl 720 and pwning sh1t and the Deemer spam was in full effect.Nobody had a Heluis bot so top scores were always close.Ya wish we could turn back time.
