Ok, I have a new pu idea :P

Well I was looking at a disruptor pu and then thinking about lightning gun and how the lrod is like a lightning gun but shooting all enemies near you :)

Well the new pus i was thinking of would be like a counter attack pu that would trigger randomly when you take damage

Lightning shield pu- would shoot lightning bolts like lrod at all enemies near you, but it would have a low amount of damage and a low chance of happening.

Flame shield pu- would shoot like fire rune, when it triggers, it would shoot fireballs out around you one time, it would do moderate damage and have a higher chance of happening than the Lightning shield

Ice shield pu- would shoot like ice rune, when it triggers it would shoot iceballs out around you one time, it would do high damage but it would trigger less than the Lightning shield pu.

(I have lots of time to think of new stuff :P)

I don't play UT much any more. Laptop's pissed me off enough <_<

Erm, isn't this in the wrong section? Anyway, Good idea, but I'm saying no to it as it'll make the runes redundant.

how about when u get 10 damage, it will become 2 D5's on the gun.

stack the protections like we would with damage. (5 protects and a P5)

Heres some other fun/smart ideas

3 vamp pu will able to let you vamp off the "un-vampables" ( soldiers ) but with only the power of 1 vamp pu.


2-3 weapon summons would give you higher chances of getting a gun above +5 ( not of power but like this. "null entropy combat shotgun")
and while having 3 on a weapon have a 5 percent chance of getting a
Particle, SSR Heavy, and etc.

POSSIBLE FIXES
Flare launcher - take out the flare trail but keep the blast to possibly fix some lag.
Make it seem like a fire ball but blue/white

The two-three weapon summon idea has been and gone from the server. It's to avoid players hogging all the summons just to increase their chances for a good gun.

Damage idea : Nope. Seeing as the max base is +9 (Or +10 if you load the singles on first) there's no point in morphing the singles into a +5. Besides, It would take some of the planning out.

Three vamps : Nope. Why add an effect for three when there isn't an effect for two? Besides, it again takes the skill out of the game.
