dont do anything, it works now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you dont see it you maybe have a problem with the forumskin, try set it to default, i dunno if all problems with the forumskins are fixed!

Ok, I dont have photoshop, I have MS paint, my options are kinda limited, and its nothing compared to what other forumers have used before...

http://www.gimp.org/windows/ an open source image editor. It is almost as powerful as photoshop, but free.

first this you need to do is pop open your original large ass file and then resize with that using some smoothing filters (bicubic or the like). teh jaggies are making my eyes bleed.
there should be some tutorials on how to do this if you need some help, even though it should be pretty straightforward.

edit: and it should open up a box where you can adjust the 'quality' of the file, lower on the slider means more compression and higher means more info, move it around so that you get a good balance of filesize: cleanliness
yeah just tried it out, the .png plugin it uses seems to work very well, try that
