This has been happening to me quite a bit as of late - the weapon won't stop firing and you can't switch off of it. I've found that it sometimes corrects itself after several waves, but not always. Annoying in the least.

Has anyone else had this happen a lot lately? If so maybe we should call Joeyz about it.

is it possible to unload it after it bugs? because if you take infinite off then you'll eventually run out of ammo forcing the game to stop firing when you change (forced change because you ran out, maybe it won't change though, idk). provided you don't lose ur pus

That's a very good question. Simply put, I don't know, because I didn't want to try it for fear of losing my PUs - decided instead to just deal with it while it lasted. Next time it happens - which I am sure will be soon - I will try that.

BTW - I mean "soon" as relative to gameplay time, which, as most of you have probably noticed, isn't much for me lately. Primarily I've (Like Turkey) been sucked into a FREE MMORPG called Rappelz Epic3. The best part is that you can choose who's in your party, so no dealing with jackass PU-stealing n00bs.

Of course, the suck part is either (A) finding the right mobs you need to kill for your quest, or (B) waiting for those mobs to spawn.

to think I came here to bitch about tmoney's speeding around and picking up other peoples pu's imagine my surprise when finding this post. hahaahhahaha if you didn't kill for the pu's why in the hell do you go around and running real fast taking what you didn't earn. You may need it but what makes you think your better or deserve it more than the one you stole it from? Any of you new poeple who see what t-money or some other players do when they get super speed and run around taking pu's don't think that is the way to do it because it's not what it will do for you is make people stop giving you things when you ask for them. Sometimes I wish I could stick my leg out and trip you that run around taking for your greedy selves just to see you falling on your face would be priceless indeed.

Yes this has happened to me a few times but what to do about it... nothing is for sure but one time what worked is taking all the pu's I had on the weapon off of it and switch weapons and put the pu's on a different weapon just for a short time then switch them back, but another time i tried that it didn't work as soon as i put back the pu's onto the flak it started to do the same thing. Suicide worked once, getting killed worked once but didn't another time I don't think there is just one way to go about it working and what worked one time may not work another. Sorry if no help.

One other thing I would like to bring up is the double toons after ghosting, aint that a hoot. Has happend to me a couple of times and the only thing I am sure of that stops the other toon from being there is to completly leave the game and re-start it. If anyone else has figured a way around from having to do that please do tell.

I'm sure Joey knows of these things we are talking about and maybe we will see these things fixed this patch, next patch or patch after that. How I try to see it just ads a little more flavor to the game play that the others don't get to deal with and it's interesting the ideas that come out as to what to do at the time. Kinda makes the game play more interesting to say the least.

yes, that double person things is odd indeed, but i have seen it happen on rare occasion ever since starting to play here. it annoys me like vehicles do since it shows a health meter above and i keep trying to shoot at such things X}

anyways, remember earlier today deadly on shrine map when i said your going to spec mode caused the server to crash? i know its a dumb accusation, but really, i was near you when it happened. after you went to spec, a few seconds after, the server crashed and i was near you. i saw you, and moved my gun over, and for some odd reason, your name would pop up in green when i stuck the reticule over. weird thing... i even got a screenshot of it! and yes, i know i told you all i made all reticules pink dots, but i never did with the mini since its been my least used gun ever on invasion since it is generaly so weak and ammo is used up fast. but then, came ssr mini lately, and thats what i am using there. i don't need a high slot ssr mini like so many just have to obsess about. really, damages 5 and some singles, pro 5, e5, and infs and its all good.

I WANNA STICK MY FOOT OUT AND WATCH THEM EAT DIRT TOO! IVE BEEN HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH RUNON GUN FIRE AS WELL FOR QUITE SOME TIME (LAST 2 OR 3 MONTHS) AND IT SEEMS TO GET PROGRESSIVELY WORSE AS TIME GOES ON. sorry about caps didnt see until now

Don't get me wrong, the amount of time I keep the finger on the trigger in most waves means I rarely stop firing, but I don't need to get stuck wasting ammo if I'm yet to find an inf. Hasn't happened to me for a while thinking about it
