haven't seen one of these before

it says its a network traffic optimizer for game/voip traffic
honestly i didn't know something like this existed
for $60 i could find other places where the money could be used better
but it seems really interesting
been updating the communication lines in my house(why i've been gone from teh interwebs for a while) so this caught my eye.
seriously thinking of getting one

does anyone know hows exactly this thing works?

it's glorified QOS.

the rule of thumb is adding a device to reduce latency is an oxymoron. :hwsb2:

yeah, thought that too bowls
right after finding this device i ran across an article about putting a Linux os embedded into a wireless router. considering it will do the same thing, it looks really interesting, customizable, and above all else i won't have to tap my bank account ;)

yea.. the wrt54g-L (i think it's -L) is great for that.. makes for some interesting wireless fun too. :hwsb:
