TEAM FORTRESS 2!!1!one

Post by vrillusions » Sun Oct 07, 2007 12:07 pm

Didn't there used to be an "other games" section for this type of stuff?

OMFGBBQPIELOLCOPTER Been playing this ever since I got my new computer setup. Can't really explain it anyway other than it's freakin awesome.

The Orange Box - Team Fortress 2 The second big trailer is pretty good to get an idea of the dynamics.

All I can say is I'm glad I didn't bother getting the first expansion pack (they rolled it all into "the orange box"). Preordering through steam gets you into the team fortress 2 beta. On that note, haven't used steam in a while, it's gotten a lot better now. You can buy pretty much any game through it now if you got the connection to download multiple gigabyte games. Also has a profile system of sorts that looks like it was based off the xbox360 achievements and stuff. If any of y'all are on there, here's my profile http://steamcommunity.com/id/otagi/ Be sweet if I actually had friends on there *sniff*

And new computer... Intel core 2 duo E6750 (2.66ghz) overclocked to 3.2ghz, 2gb 800mhz dual-channel ddr2 memory, GeForce 8600 GTS. Yeah I don't think I'll have any problems with unreal III \:D/ Also have a 500gb SATA-300 drives (yes plural). Going to have 2 in a raid-1 config for all my music and movies and such while the system drive will have all the games and stuff (and just having a 75gb C: and 435gb D: instead of doing all this multiple partition stuff that I used to do. Still unsure what to do with all this space but you can get seagate 500gb sataII drives for $100 now (grabbing my second drive for the raid and reinstalling everything as soon as I send this).

Dayum son! That's looks hot to death. As soon as I'm done suing whats-his-face for stealing my computer fridge idea, I'm gonna be on it.

I've actually been hooked on portal now. It's only like 3 hours long and I've played through it a few times now. Recorded a couple cool moments just haven't got the new computer setup with encoding stuff yet as the video files are uncompressed and freakin huge. But the game is hilarious.
