Again I ask how America is superior to 90% of the countries of the world?
Define superior and give some examples, if you can.

Maybe we could ask some people from the gulf coast affected by Katrina about how superior you are when Canadian mounties came to the aid of the people before any real American assistance, and how America turned down a plane full of doctors, nurses, supplies, and aid from Cuba, and then took weeks to provide care.

You describe Islam as a problem, this is wrong, Islam teaches many positive wonderful things, just like the bible and scriptures do. The problem with ALL religions is individuals interpretation of it. Extremists exist in both religions preaching hatred and citing the bible or koran as a justification to their actions. There are more fundamentalists in America than any other country. The Bible belt is full ignorant bigots who use the bible as an excuse to preach hatred.

With the exception of Native Americans you are ALL descendants of immigrants. Whether your descendants arrived with Columbus or one of the thousands of ships that followed. Paint, when your descendants arrived did they follow the rules? Whose rules?

I honestly don't want to debate this here as this is a place where I play and relax from work. But I am involved in teaching cultural diversity in a University, and I hear the same crap from ignorant students everyday.
I hear the same arguments from friends in England, France, Germany, and Australia. It is short sighted to look at immigration this way.

Diversity is what made America a nation strong and a respected nation. It is why people wanted to come to America, the melting pot. with possibilities for everyone, work hard and succeed the American dream.
It makes me sad that people will not consider the alternative viewpoint in situations like this.

I can't believe my eyes. I thought the media and pop culture brainwashed most people to be PC(Pollitically Correct), Mindless, Progressive(Communistic), Homosexual, Wimps, who murder thier mothers at the first chance they can. Nice to know.

Are you kidding me? I'm only 15 years old and have enough common sense to understand whats really going on in this world because I actually care about it. The problem with Americans is that we don't think anything "bad" can happen to us. And im talking about the civilians. If we got a war going on, they will think "Oh the military will take care of it." I mean sense we are in the top 10 strongest armies in the world, we think were safe over in America. NOT TRUE! At anytime I think about us getting nuked. North Korea and Iran hate out guts and makes me start to think that if they wanted to, they could start throwing nuclear weapons at us. Iran is already starting a nuclear program and gathering nuclear fuel which they think is being blackmarketed from Russia. Not saying its DIRECTLY coming from Russia but the blackmarket of Russia is possibly doing this.

Back to the part with America getting involved in a war. Have they EVER thought what would happen if our opponents came on our turf? The last time this ever happend was during the Revolutionary War which makes perfect sense because we wanted this land. And I don't really count the Civil War because that was just diputes against North and South. But imagine if a hotshot army like Iran, Russia, or China decided to come over here? I would be scared as hell and I would literally sleep with my 12 gauge. Besides the dominant countries in this world all have enough nukes to literally annihilate this entire planet. But I see nukes more as a defense mechanism.

I think you are referring to New Orleans not the entire gulf coast, remember that Katrina did not come close to New Orleans, it was simple the storm surge that broke the levies. It eye of the storm hit Mississippi, the gulf coast is still a disaster zone, and FEMA and the Bush administration are the continuing cause of the problems.

You should be more scared about the debt that your country is running up. Debt that your kids will be forced to pay of on a war that has F-all to do with the 9-11 attacks. You have already spent 3 Trillion dollars you don't have. The economy is in the can, Education system is failing, most Americans don't have health insurance, and the ones who do get screwed by the companies if they get sick. Wake up.

Do you think/know that all your descendants were legal immigrants? When the pioneers went to discover new land across the plains to the west did they follow the rules of the people they found there? Or did they murder them and take their lands for their own?
If they arrived during the civil war they were forced to fight for the North to gain their citizenship.
What of those people whose descendants arrived on a slave ship? Are they legal.
If my great grandparents parents arrived illegally and and my parents and I were born here, am I an Illegal?

Immigration is not black and white, and I agree that things are not being done well in most countries, but by promoting intolerance of people because of how they arrived in your country is not solving a problem only creating new divisions and perpetuating bigotry and ignorance in its people.

The immigration debate will never be solved without pressure from people like you, Consider the position that possible presidential candidates have about immigration, not the comments / promises they make during a speech but in the plans that they publish.

Damn I could have leveled up in the time I have been ranting here!

I would love to spar with you sometime it's fun but I'm here to level up too. I want to say that we totally agree that big government is not the answer!!! Looked how the goverment screwed up that disaster, why would i want them in all my other buisness and going broke. Bush is a tottal libral when it comes to spending and just wait till a lib gets into office will be bankrupt, dollar worth nothing, and the government telling us what to do, bad healthcare, yada yada. I wish the democrats and republicans would go back to thier old ways. financially conservative and let the people be resposible for themselfs...

But yeah... I would say that America is on top. But, and yes but, Korea has weapons, so does Iraq. Yet even though we all have the fire power to nuke just about every inch, they can alway use the element or surprise as the taliban did on 9/11.
