PU s That Cause Lag

Well yes, players voice chat does cause some lag, but usually not enough to be concerned about.

When someone is using a mic and won't shut up, or won't turn down the background music, then they can cause lag.
If you lost your cd and have the old drive and have not reinstalled UT2004 or reformatted the drive, you can find your old cd key in the registry here ...

hmm al the proza

to mutch 2 read

1 only the admins can kick or ban and should be the only 1s to be allowed to use the prazes aswell

2 if u want 2 use proxys u can use em
and i never ever found that those caused lag for me what so ever
i love proxys and their lil sounds 2

only 2 many players , sertain maps and monsters cuase lag
and if ur only 3 of u there no way on hell a proxy cuases lag

(der einzige admin der mich versteht und wo ich in keine konflikte komme wegen meinem schlechten englisch ^^ ... ich mag proxys übrigens auch ^^ und so oft werden sie ja nun auch wieder nicht genutzt da die mp nur mit denial zu halten ist)

TY for all replies and i found that proxy did do enough damage were i thought it was a good pu.

and theres no doubt, "a proxy" is not causing lag, we talk about premo´s
case, "for what wep are proxy´s", telling it and then massive spamming it over ...16-17-18 (?) waves without stopping pulling the trigger except when he typed "i dont belive you" or "they dont cause lag" etc or something like that.. and more and more players had weaponloss etc...
tell this those players...

the rest is all answered...

1. missunderstanding, he means the "sounds" or "speeches" from the monsters.

i dont know what the problem is, but some custom skins dont "null" and dont be set to default, they are shown white. von-kill-yous skin for example, since he changed from bot to the new skin, i only see a white-colored skin from beginning to end of map.
i dont recognice lag, but im sure theres a problem with some skins...

oh well... about nerving "zounds" using same minimum resources
like a "talkin" proxy, and you cant "forbid them (proxys/monsters) to <talk>" ;-)

he said he tested a lot with other weps (incl. chaos-ut-weps). some produce errors, but no lag. well i will try to answer this translated into german in joeys topic about these problems.

something i have to tell him in pm, not needed to answer it here again cause it is answered...

i found using the mp-5 proxys between waves only was a great way to add points and almost always helps me get a holy sh t kill when wave starts up.I also will drop mines between waves whatever adds some points.
