Boozo Idling/Paintballs explanation for whats idling
Moderator: Forum Moderators
hello and HNY 2....
if i remember right, the auto/idle-kick is set to 2 or 3mins.
the problem are the monsters. if they shot at an idler, he is "moving",
so the server recognices this "moving" and >think<, ok, hes at the keyboard. :whoa:
so the idler never will be auto/idlekicked. :hothead:
:eureka: i dont know if there is a way to change the recognicing of "asdw" to "mouse-fire-buttons", but if its possible, try this,(or a combination of both) and most idlers will be really autokicked, cause no idler is using fire/altfire!!

At the end of the day though all one has to do is write a simple sendkeys script and run it to fool the damn thing.
(If you are that sad of an idler that is, and from what I've seen of a few players in the past, this is more than the case.)

Dunno about you but the few times i've ever minimised the game to check e-mail or the time, i've found that gets me stuck into an auto fire mode that i have to break out of by switching weaps when i maximise the screen back.Bert wrote:Yeah that's probably true.hello and HNY 2....

yeah i know these 2 exceptions, and i can know a 3., there are some players who use strafe left/right on mousebuttons...w/e we talk about REAL idlers and not someone whos "real" >brb< within 2 mins...
ok, i remember me beeing idle too...after 26hours playing nonstop inv,
falling asleep, next wave playing, sleeping again, standing in middle of map, beeing kiled, wakin up again, playin next wave, sleeping....some remember this funny thing, but i bet this doesnt really count and will not happen again... :-)

Lol tripplex, I've done similar before falling asleep drunk.
Yeah I've seen this too though it was a lot worse on ut2003, you could make the fire modes stick on by holding the fire button down then opening the music player or escape.Dunno about you but the few times i've ever minimised the game to check e-mail or the time, i've found that gets me stuck into an auto fire mode that i have to break out of by switching weaps when i maximise the screen back.
