Wands

Post by Bert » Wed Jan 10, 2007 12:27 pm

To cut a long story short I was out in town a few days ago and it became rapidly apparent that I could not have picked a worse day leave my loaded wand of power +10 at home, as you will find out next.

I was walking down an alley and heard what sounded like thunder coming from behind me, so I turned around to find this prodigious diabolical entity encroaching on me. My heart sank when I reached in to my pocket only to find I had forgotten my wand (again), it was like that horrible feeling you get when you think you've lost your wallet and or keys only about 100 times more poignant.

But you live and learn.

It was weird how things turned out next as for the next 20 or so minutes this monster tore through the city leaving a trail death and destruction in its wake and I was unable to use my wand on it right from the start, which would have been like soooooooo cool!

Not to mention how cool I would have looked, Bert and the Beast, Bert wins and gets free drinks down all the local pubs until the end of time..

But anyway like I said, live and learn.

In the end the monster was struck down by a brilliant blue light before collapsing in to the bay and vanishing, which was very spectacular though I never did find out where that bolt of energy came from.

I did manage to grab a few pictures of the beast on my cell phone camera though, apologies if some of them look a bit blurry or whatever as I was running for my life at the time.

Though it is a 2 mega pixel camera so they are pretty good.

I really should put that wand on my keyring so I don't keep forgetting it like this.

Its Abaddon, and probably never unless someone here is really good at monster modelling.

Or unless we can blag the BBC for the model they used, but I wouldn't count on that one.

Whoever modeled Luci could probably do this boy.
You don't have to be a star to be in my show.
