I'm enjoying the change, for the most part. I'm used to being dead with a weak weapon because I got in at wave 12 or whatever (like at HoldTheCamp), I had to endure over 100 levels of that before I got to a point where I could survive and make a difference. I'm sure it has some tweaking on its way, but the general idea of upping the difficulty does have its benefits.

Like richer gameplay or more determination to win.

yup i have to say is good, not winning all the time was a bit fun, I could definitely a bit more adjustment for levels as players dropped. one wave in particular it just me and a few low levels, the high levels had been taken out by a few of those nasty wands, and i was able to clear a whole bunch with my medic mp5 :). and the more difficult parts, i absolutely love. mini-guns always annoyed me in just about every gametype, this was just fun though running through 1-1 shrine team vamping and healing like crazy just to survive!
could be tweaked: yes
is more fun now: yes!

oh and almost forgot this upped team spirit a hundredfold :)

hmmm.....I might have to come in and check this out!!. It Invasion became a challenge and its coming from Blue & Gen & Beast & Drea....I can believe it. Unlike last time when I read the forums and alot of people said it was to hard so I came back and it was alittle harder just because the Flak Power Ups were gone. and some others. I will be in the game sometime this week to check it out.
Later all!

Well, I think some adjustment needs to be made to the server as to monster abilities and player abilities. It seems that after awhile the monsters are almost impervious to any kind of weapons fire. Now the problem with that is, there's just the player.........and a lot more monsters. They gang up on you when you can't kill them expeditiously.

Well one more update, I just played 10 hours straight O_O because of this challenging difficulty.
I'm happy to report the wand still cuts through these baddies like butter, albeit with a few extra shots but it works marvelously.
Musts* (ESPECIALLY in small groups)
*Vorpal ( if you're last and safe an mp5/mimi works great with it, other weps take forever....)
*Join Early
*Multiple Heals
*Maps with hide spots(to hide lower levels too)
*Constant movement ( seriously, you can't fool around!)
*Bunkers/glass/wall shields strategically placed and away from monster spawn points.
*Absolute protection of CrowBar/Crate/chests/keys and Letters.
*Absolute protection of Lower levels ( I noticed Uncertain protecting them on one map recently, what a nice guy!!
*An Ice Rune used in the right moment is a God Send, its possible to nearly clean out wave 20 alone, ( given a small map that allows you some seconds to hide and heal and still attack at a moments notice.)
*If you have the adrenaline, on a small map I would reccomend using the l-rod early to help clear out waves( any from 11-20) Although this can be tricky.... It's always good to wait to use it but it becomes nearly useless if you're last.

That's it for now, Love your work Joey!

Well through it all im still a faithful joeyz rpg junkie and its just 3 people i cant stand i love rest of you guys.Ortega the vets are the coolest and can remember a game that was almost perfect.Things all made sense them as well.Nobody ran off with every game and there was a better balance. But the new people are also becoming veteran like in many ways and i know many unselfish people here that could even make good admin.I vote uncertain for an admin shot because he is a great team player like many others.
