tell you what , no you do not need the 850 watt psu for that system. newegg has a great return setup. send the psu back and use the cridet to get a better card ( 8800 ultra or 9800 gtx ) install it and test it against what you have now if you want to keep it then send back the 9800 gt and keep the extra money. if you do not like the emprovement, or see none (wich i doubt will happen) you can send the card back and get all your money. is a win ,win. you get to test it out WHOOT !!! and i am realy intrested in knowing , are you running XP or Vista, it makes a real diffrance. reason why is: if you are running Vista you should keep the 4gb of ramm, if you are running XP then there is no need for the 4gb. it is not going to be used to it's fullest extent with xp. you can save money there, to get back or to upgrade.
