Q. Would you yell out racial comments like that in the mall?
A. No. You would get beat up.

Q. Would you yell out racial comments like that at an education center?
A. No. Teacher would boot you and a group of students would be waiting for you in the parking lot.

So why do it here? As in any community, there has to be an authority of power to control order. Server Admins are here to serve as police (control order) and technicians (provide support). What would it be like if there weren't any discipline in our society today? Would there be any police, fire departments, medical, education, jobs, support, etc.
Which society would you want?

In our case here...
1. Suspect: (T-Money) joking or not, raping all black ***gers.

2. Victim: (Kung-Fu) thick or thin skinned, whom has a black daughter.

3. Witness: Axe (admin).
4. Evidence: Exhibit 1: Chat Log Screen Shot.

Verdic: I may not be judge judy, but after reviewing the evidence (Exhibit 1: Chat Log Screen Shot) and In Accordance With (IAW) server rule "No Racism" and Kung-Fu submitting a complaint, I have to rule in favor for the plantiff. ....taps hammer on desk.

Action 1: T-Money, fined for 10 levels, 30 days probation, and 8 hours of community service helping noobs. Even though you were probably joking, just using gangster street slang and did not initially attack Kung-Fu, an admin didnt ban you. However, it was still racial and you did attack Kung-Fu in the end. Kung-Fu is a college professor and his daughter is black. There are 16 players and you don't always know their ages, sex, religion, or culture. This is a public server and racism is not allowed. Racial comments can get you kicked out of school or fired from a job. Bottom line, nothing personal, If you continue to use racial comments, we will have to ban you. Don't start no drama and there wont be no drama.

Action 2: Kung-Fu, I am very sorry this happened. Communications online has to be one of the hardest exposures for such a respected professor. Internet/online communications used today is so contraversal (pornography, child molestation, viruses, racism, scams, more viruses, electronic attacks, spam email, language, etc). I assure you that I don't support any of these nor will I tolerate them on my server. Also, do you know where the IGNORE button is? I favor you in this case; however, there will always be something that offends someone and anywhere. Again, I'm sorry and will talk to the admins and we will do a better job in keeping the community game clean and fun.

Action 3: Axe, fined for wearing dirty underwear, j/k. I understand that you didn't kick or ban T-Money because he did not initially attack Kung-Fu; however, as soon as T-Money made the racial comments, did it occur to you that some players may be black? Allowing players to mis-behave (racial comments) like that would eventually lead to starting some kind of fight. You should have stopped (telling T-Money to knock it off) it as soon as Kung-Fu raised hell about it. I am pretty sure you thought T-Money was just joking around, but racial comments are not funny. I also notice in the log that T-Money is getting a bit out of control. Keep a better watch for this and don't let situations get out of control. Players look up to admins to be fair and impartial. Allowing something like this will make you lose face (respect) among players who see it. Be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Take care of yourselves and each other.

Firstly, Fu's child is a son, not a daughter.

The only monsters I have been fighting are the ones I found in my son's diapers.
He is 11 months old now, He was born in America, though my wife and I are British, She is black, I am white.

Secondly, with each parent being of a different race, this makes the child MULTI-RACIAL. Not simply "black" nor simply "white". A little of both, yes, but not completely either.

Although, when applying for his college financial aid, check the box next to "Black" when asked for "race" - sad as it is, you'll end up paying less. Gotta love excusable racism (against whites in this case)!

One final question: What is the proper reaction when someone refers to a black Frenchman (whom they KNOW is French) as an African-American?
