Man, its gonna be so different comming back to a server where most of the people aer on the same skill level i was when i left, while im trying to clear the cobwebs and refamiliarize myself with the online delay(slight, but not the same as my single player practicing) I just hope i can still shine in this growing CB community =)

KnaveSkye wrote:From what i was reading about Carball mapping and modding, this would be difficult to do. What i read was you litterally have to program every monster how to interact with a ball. Each vehicle has its own code of how to interact with a ball with each weapon, which is why in order to change say....how much force a pocket rocket inflicts on the ball, you would have to change coding for each of the 4 vehicles, not jsut the pocket rocket. But hey, if someone is up to the challenge.....but im just as happy with normal CB
normal cb is always good

joeyz said he can make the monsters shoot at the ball i dont know bout making em a team though.
I dont think joeyz will be getting on that immediatley but if he has the time maybe he could try it

If we're not going to be getting experience in Carball (and believe me when I say a lot of us wish we did get experience from Carballing), then we need to at least have more fun with it. Otherwise, in Carball, we have three kinds of players: Carballers, who actually try to make goals; combatants, who are only there to blow up as many enemies as possible; and AFKers, whom are, well, AFK.

Giving the players something to run over besides pocket rockets and remote mines can only add to the flavor of playing Carball. I don't really see how it could hurt in anyway, but I'm just a noob.

This is the reason right here CB should have sum sort of RPG status

Its also aggravating wen ever 1 CB vote is made everyone starts playing the dictator role "NO CB / VOTE INV / VOTE OR CB WINS "
For those of you who listen to the peeps who do this and vote what they want. Kill yourself If I wanted sumone to tell me what to do I'd talk to my wife.

And then peeps wanna AFK in CB until INV comes back at the same time ruining it for other players

So how can us CB players ruin INV for those players since they liek to do it to us. I know it sounds bad but come on how would everyone like it if all the high levels waited till all the low levels die
its not fair to anyone either way

As I said, I am not entirely opposed to the idea, and am more than willing to try it but if - AND ONLY IF - the majority of the other players were willing to do so as well. However, when you have the majority of players who DO NOT want monsters, then the game becomes a farce, because it's not what they want to play, and they will instead go AFK or even go so far as to help the opposing team. Simply put, I would only want to do this when everyone (or most everyone) playing is going to actually play the game and enjoy it, not screw it up for everyone.

And again, there are those of us that when we play CB we expect a "normal" game because of the competitiveness of it - over the past several months, many players have improved greatly, and it shows, and we actually like to leave it up to our own skill levels instead of having the additional interference of mobs.

I dunno, though im just supposed to spawn monsters in cb I do enjoy them there even though I cant play cb with the monsters Its still fun watching them spawn and wreak havok. But jakobs seem to be more fun than monsters (which is why I added them) because they just follow you and if they get in your way its fun crushing them.

I would be ok with say 5 monters messing with people. but that was alittle to much even though I found it funny. I would be pissed because that is like tring to play game and it let you. The game shouldn't stop people from being able to play it.
Later all!

Ohh, I know I want to run some bots over :P, heh if we had a weapon that could knock a person out of their car and they had to either get back to it or survive for a time (cause I'm sure I would be trying to run them over :P) that would funny, interesting, and quite fun packed.
Sometimes a crazy move is the best move.
