Server redirect messed up?

I say this because when I went to join the server yesterday, they were playing Pingpong map and it was a different map than what was in the zip files offered. There was quite a few maps that were revised that I couldin't get on.

Yeah.... one of the things I've always been pissed at... is when map developers don't version their maps properly and RENAME the damned things, easy fix.. just rename it, it don't get clobbered by the server for being hash mismatch

i´m sorry if you still have trouble getting on server.
true i didnt get all maps in these mappacks.
but note, when i made these mappacks it was when
redirect server was first time down for long time
in 2013. all i have done now was re-uploading these
packs again to renew the old non working links.
if maps were fixed, deleted, renamed or "new"
UPLOADED as an older (buggier) version, even when
beeing more played they are not included in these
mappacks.

when i made these packs server had ca. 280 maps.
the last 50 maps were mostly rare played or more crap,
and the maps between these last 50 maps and the first
140 mostplayed maps i felt like beeing mostly ignored
because of you need to scroll through so many in the midfield..

if everyone would be fair enough to only vote the first
mostplayed140 maps, sure they repeat more often, but
at least more player could join because chance would be
higher more have it than a rare one from rest...

when i have time im looking into the old mappacks, or try to make
a big mappack for the here at the moment non available maps.

the last three mappacks i made last weekend were ca. 80 "new" maps we have
since 2013, so we have now like 360maps, from which the first
140 and the last 80 maps were beeing more played than the maps from
"place" 141-280....

dunno if problem is solved now, paintball said in server
news topic that joey might fix it today.
in case it needs a bit longer tell me names of maps which
i have overseen to be played more often than i thought
and im uploading them as soon as possible.
as far i recognized now i dont have 2 or 3 from last just
3-4 times played maps yet. testserver dont have these
maps and i didnt want to force these maps just to download
it from 179-server...

ok update: just looked into server map list. guess i dont have
some more than only these 2-3 maps i mentioned, included that
"new" pingpong v2 map, which in my oppinion is the
older version of the "fixed" one. but cant tell untill i have that map.

to tired now, trying to get full map list in next time and look which
i dont have etc..

Last post wasn't really aimed at anyone in particular, just the mappers in general.. such an easy thing to do, otherwise a mismatched map in a client crashes or won't connect... use to crash if it mismatched if I recall correctly.. would like to thank Amy for offering up any files, I haven't ran into any that mismatch... I can't find the redirect in Europe that I used the last time, so I am guessing they are gone as well.... shrinking world of UT
