Archangel wrote:Might as well go for 8 gb of mem as that board will support it (I know because I have the EVGA mobo).
I was wondering if the Corsair Dominator/XMS2 TWIN2x20488888C4FD get up to 8GB's of ram, ive searched corsairs
rams in there site, sellers, net and more but theys seem to only come in 1GB per mem stick, couldn't find their highest grade sticks that come in 2GB pers stick for a total of 8GB's or do you mean the mobo can hold more than 6 slots or something loLs pardon my lack of knowledge Lol Thanks again for the tip. : ) Pardon my writing as I was abit busy and also accidently injured/cut my index finger with surgeon grade blade Lol fnny storie so i was typing this slowly but rushed.

edit: originaly thought of 8 but thought wasn't possible and guess it's not for cosairs highend memories weird , so im guessing 8GB of lower ends of corsairs memory compared to the dominators new technology is better overall logicaly loL?

I would think so but I just read abit of these links and others http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/sho ... p?t=121284 http://www.corsairmemory.com/products/dominator.aspx and had some urge to get it L mao I might need to do more research when I actually do buy or build it (future pc), even though its there top of the line-different class of memories doesnt mean you must buy it or that it will be compatable,, worth it or what not. Thanks for the feedback very much appreciated : )
p.s. I took a day off since I had a few other reasons besides that funny finger incident I had today loLs

Actually, check with the mobo manufaturer and see what's compatible as it goes by that. Corsair, Munskin, G-Skill are all good.

I was just surfing around for some specialty tools and somehow bumped into costco and saw this it has only 800watt PSU, GeForce 8800 ultra, 3GB Corsair XMS2 and Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66GHz w/liquidcooling.
so for $2500USD i was wondering what you guys think of the pc and price? is very low or very high? would anyone be fooled into buying it Rofl, im in canada thought lOL.
personaly since some games in the future might eventully demand extremely highend pc's to run in maxed settings without performance loss, lag, heat etc i would like to build one or get one decently priced but can also run crysis and future games in maxed settings flawlessly.
