I see that borders'post was locked...but I do have to say...that I too stopped by that "Swampland" server...and I have this to say..."That server is caca doo doo compared to joey's server!! Seriously!!"
This is evident, in the number of players that are normally on it.....0. Is there some sort of issue between the person that runs that server and joey? I mean, if he managed to get the mutators and files to run that server in an unscrupulous way or has backstabbed the honest effort joey and his team have made in some way, then I wouldn't have even looked at that server. But I actually had seen familiar players playing on there...and that's why I stopped by.

My thing is this...I know how difficult it is..and how much incredible work has gone into making this server what it is today. I would rather go without a WOP invasion server and stand behind someone who has class and ethics...than to play on a crappy imitation WOP server and stand behind someone who is untrustworthy and deceptive!!! Now, I'm not all together stupid when it comes to things...but I'm not one that goes in for hateful backstabbing and I don't care to associate with people who are all about that...even on just an ocassional basis. But because I don't follow those types of circles...I'm not always aware of any conflicts or issues that are present.

So, if there is a particular reason why playing on that server would be frowned upon...please let me know. Because I don't like to make uninformed decisions about things if possible. If old issues don't want or need to be hashed out againl...I don't mind a PM...and I don't mind if this post gets locked either. But I would prefer to do right by people...than to do wrong by people Thanks

the server was mostly crap and knowing what we do know here of such insane gameplay, it is nothing that great. i enjoyed only playing among others i know from here who were on there as well when the server was down.

i heard that server was what joey's was like long ago. i did find it interesting to take a look at gameplay past how it was here at the very least. but i tell you..that ssr mini pu cheat made every map so easyafter that pu was found. 3 or more players just instakilling it all made very little challenge

this is what i have been saying all along. They DO NOT use any of joeys mods on any of their servers

Ga8or stole joeyz wop and just added some of his own stuff.

Like I said when I was there, it's pretty much the way the old server was. Build up adren, get a globe and td and lrod and just never die...It's pretty lame.

Oh yeah we also had the ssr mini glitch. However ga8or took the old version of it since the patch after it changed the damage and the color of the ssr mini to orange.

I remember this all too well...

I have heard about that server but never been to it, I heard that he stole some code from joeyz or something, which is pretty low in my book. I mean come on, If someone knew what they were doing they could just download the basic WOP mod and build on that, not steal crap like some lazy leech. I have played at a few other servers that run the wop mod, most are extreme crap, I dont think any of them have special summonable weapons, just the onslaught guns and crap.

well by what you are saying here you havent herd the entire story. YES gator did take joeys mods, and was running his swampland server with them. HOWEVER now he does not use any of them, just what he has made.

If joey wanted to say something he would. Why are accusing someone that, like air said we might not no all the story. If he took it and him and joey came to a conclusion then let it go man. Joey is the man at what he does for all of us. We have enough drama on this server why bring anothers into it.
