I'm just curious on how a Aim bot or something other then what the default of the game gives you can help you score so high. I know people have looked at people and said how are they getting scores like that. I have done it when I know for a fact that I have had the best gun and the best artifact and standing next to a person without a weeker gun but they are still beating me. Just curious if a aim-bot will actaully help you score more or any hack. Don't call ANYONE out on the post please. If you want to admit that you suck and use bots to help out go head. But please don't call anyone out about suspect to them sucking that they need help. I'm only curious if it actaully works or are known ways of scoreing higher since it has came up so much in the last few weeks about peoples scores.

PS. If it does hook me up with that crack, just kidding actaully i love to challenge myself. Keep it real!!

you know, i get this accusation all the damn time >,,< i don't know how or wtf an aim bot is supposed to really work. i don't even know what the basis and possibilities are for hacking to do better. is this even possible, like somehow hacking to get special pus and items into inventory? people say i am too lucky, and sometimes it feels that way when i get a wand or lady every few maps, and the rod. truly, its is all by chance when i get those things and 90% of the good summons i get are from an mp5 slot.

someone, please answer this for me too, because i am curious how and what this bot thing is supposed to be.

now as for score stuff, i think i have mentioned this before how i think it works. score being based off damage done as well as the type of monster one kills. with +10 damage and 5 rages, one is a major killer with any weapon, whatever it is if it has high rate of fire. except avril now, as i siaid in another post, damage score might be related to also overkills. like a hitting and killing a monster with something that steals 500 hp away, yet the monster has 200 hp. you still get the score amount for that excess since that shot still hit. this is also probably the basis to the lightning rod too since it kills many weaker enemies instantly and with all the damage and rage, it is one heck of a single strike, and with so many hitting tons of things, it adds up so so fast.

along these lines too are weapons that spam out many projectiles. for instance, razor bomb primary fire...each of the little razors is carrying the damage and rage power in each of them, and with many hitting one tatrget or more, that tends to add up greatly as well. this is also how the cutter rifle and particle alt-fire can do much high scoring, even if they don't kill that well overall; lots of little, strong projectiles bouncing around randomly hitting stuff

most of the reticules i use in game are a simple pink dot, thats all. over time, i have started to get a "feel" as to where this spot is on screen as i run and shoot about, and with this form of training, i tend to hit on mark very accurately. i kill so well because i know how to center a monster on it fast (provided lag isn't getting me badly) and go from one monster to the next. coupling this with propulsion, knockback, or pullforwards pus, i claim monsters in my aim more and those that can be affected by the pu effect are generaly going to be my kill.

when it gets laggy..like the really bad kind, i hope to have a second hand weapon to change to that has a great spread of projectiles. like i sometimes build up a blast cannon, mini rl, or razor bomb for use on waves 18 and 20, where an mp5 isn't that great.

now, someone who knows about these cheats in game, i am curious what any may know about them..the bot and hacking stuff. i would hope that the server has protections against these kinds of things. i do sometimes get frustrated and feel insulted when i get accused of this stuff..

Ok knowing where the hit box is does help....a little. I'm still trying to figure out how you beat me with a mp5 and I have a laser rifle.

I also don't quite understand how you can get such a high score with a full server.....is everyone else just goofing off? Like I've said before 95% of the high scores are done when I'm not in game...so I really don't know how it's done.

My aim is quite good if I actually play to score. The last month or so I've been trying to headshot every monster when I get a laser or lightning gun :D

I've also found that my newest pu configuration kills a whole lot faster than my old one 8)

My highest recorded score to date is 7742 and it was a half empty server :D

I too have been accused of using hax or aimbots. More so on other servers though and only once here. I have seen others use aimbots but that was on Last Man Standing or Team Death Match games. I have heard that the crosshair auto-aims to players heads (I guess it jumps around the screen). You can tell for the person gets an unusual high number of head shots. So, they player uses sniper rifles or lightning guns as these are "instant hit" weapons. I am not sure how this works with invasion. Hit boxes are different I guess. I think it is hilarious when people call someone a hax and the primary weapon they are using is flak or RL. Umm aim bots don’t work with those for these require timing due to the slowness of the projectile.

An anti- cheat package is nice to have but I have heard it causes more server processing. There are a few servers that run them (Old Dudes Servers etc..). When accused, I always challenge the accuser to go with me to a server with one of these and lets validate. That usually shuts them up. I find that they are just jealous.

Finally, I believe what we are seeing a difference in weapon construction and target acquisition. These work hand in hand and depend upon the map. How many times have you seen someone with a Lady or Wand end up having an average score? How could this be? The answer is simple, weapon construction and target acquisition. Someone with a MP5 fully loaded and running Double Damage has the potential to outscore someone with a Wand just from a weapons standpoint (okay, there are like hundreds of comparisons here). Once you have a good weapon it comes down to target acquisition. This is where experience comes in. Good players will position themselves or develop a method to shoot the most creatures and/or prevent others from doing so... That is simply it…

Oh, Draegohn, don’t worry about the number of nice weapons you summon. I recently started spawning ladies or wands. It is still rare, but it is finally happening. Perhaps it is level related? Maybe not… Whatever the case, I know you from experience as a great player (again weapon construction and target acquisition)….

Yeah, I've been accused of hacking before as well. I wouldnt be suprised if most of the servers great players have. I've jokingly said it looked like someone was using a bot before, its just a way of saying "you have awesome accuracy" and people have said I hacked and I took it as a compliment, but to my knowledge there isn't an aimbot that works with invasion. In fact, 99% of the actual botters I've seen were on UT99. I dont know why probobly due to better server tools and such. It was easy as hell to tell then because of certain movements they made, and of course never missing with the shock and sniper. Honesly though, who would need to hack at invasion!?!?!? I mean goddamn, if someone needs to use an aimbot to kill the AI monsters than they seriously suck at first person shooters lmao.

t-mon if you know bots from ut99 you MUST know elf-bot... helios created with that bot the best and most-hated bot ever, and the last "free" "official" version from the first ut2k4-months is workin on inv too! (last thing i read about a rumour, helios is selling his latest version on pay-sites for 65$..., and be sure actual antitcc or other anticheatstuff will not find it)
when i have time i make a movie from some demos i recorded from him or his teammate nbk, you really will be surprised of some effects of it.
