or does it feel like the server is dying? Please dont tell me to go somewhere else if i dont like it, the reason im putting this out there is too see if anyone else feels the same, and i wouldnt bother if it wasnt for the fact that I care about the server. I dont want to say that its too easy....just that something has been lost. Anyone who can think back to when you summoned a lady( just once all night) it meant something. There was almost no chance of getting outscored because every other person has a super weapon. Maybe its just me, but I would like to see the chests go away. I would like to see the keys and chest not get summoned by the lucky/magic pu's so that we only open them once every 10 maps instead of 2 times every map.It seems like the regulars keep droping off while the new players keep voting the same 5 maps (auto disconnect everytime we vote into familyroom or gunshop). Yes, i may be complaining, but at the same time i want to know how many people agreee or disagree or what you think would bring back the spark? or am i just burnt out on the server?....let me know what you guys think

Well there are a couple of possible reasons that you may be feeling this way.

1.) You are just bored of UT2004 and want Unreal 3 to come out so you can look at something new instead of the same old GUI.

2.) Too much of a good thing is too much. Maybe you have been playing on the server so much that you just have gotten bored of it. Remember, everything in moderation.

I don't know if these are the reasons. But they are possibilities. Especially #1.

But I do know for a fact that its not the server. If it wasnt for joeys server I would have uninstalled UT2004 2 years ago. His server is the only reason I still like the game. Its the non stop laughs and action that keep me playing. He does just like the slogan says: Keeping The UT2004 Invasion Community Alive One Player At A Time. And he does.

I woulda uninstalled a while ago had it not been the announcement of UT3. I'm just keeping skills in tacked until then. But I am finding myself less and less into the game...

I completely agree. At first I thought it was frickin awesome, but once the super lucky and magic pups along with the spell "wand" thing it just got ridiculous. It makes it unfair for people whoa ctually summon a decent weapon for somone to throw on two super luckies and open 2 chests or spell wand every other game. To be honest it seems like the only time I ever summon anything good is when I put the summon on a super weapon, after the chest has been open. The last 3 times That wand was spelled or a chest was opened I summoned another wand and it was completely useless.

um... i the best period for me was over the summer when wands were first added and made the game challenging. You would be happy if you got one super weapon in a day. You would be estatic with any gun of power because the chances were much lower back then. Razer bomb would drop once every ten games and blast didnt even exist. I guess i would vote to have the chances of having a "wop" and picking up a chest a lot less. Decrease the percentage of razer, blast, summons, inf and see what happens.
