Chicken.
I'm not going to start the "stealing" PU thing again.
I would just like to say, that whoever that was that JUMPED OVER MY HEAD to pick up a PU in front of me, that I had just liberated from a monster, is a CHICKEN for running off without the courtesy of asking if I needed it.
That is all, and thank you for a very forgettable game experience.
GG.

Hey Nappy,
I know you dont want to hear this but powerups belong to whoever pick the, up. They dont have a specific playername that they are supposed to be sent to. Powerups just lye on the ground and whoever picks them up picks them up regardless of who kills a monster.
Now listen this is why this rule makes sense. Take a moment and image everyone yelling on the server "Hey that was my powerup I killed the monster!" It would be chaotic. No one would know for sure if they actually killed the monster. So this is why powerups just are there for whoever. Its a free for all so its not all chaos. If we were all fighting over powerups this wouldnt be much of a team invasion server. This would be more like a all for one death match powerup diving server.
Hope this clears up any confusion about the nature of "stealing" powerups.

well this already happens :butthead: so its more player respect than any thing i found most i play with unless it comes to a summons will either back off when they know it was your kill or give it back most of the time and when it comes to a double drop deal usually split the prize no noobs on the server are a real pain in the rear and think this is ok to max out there quick foot first in order to such things as jump over you or nearly trans u to get it but all is well karma is a bitch and they die and we win by the slot pay out because they didn't come here to see how to build a good gun 8)

Don't rehash the old argument. This isn't about "my" powerups.
Scenario:
Shrine map.
I'm the only player in the flak room.
I shoot a monster, PU flies to the wall over my head.
Somebody flies into the room, and jumps over me as I am jumping to get it.
It did NOT have my name on it. It's the courtesy thing that gets me. I dump PUs like crazy, try to keep track of who needs what and give them if I get them. THAT'S courtesy.
Some players play as if there is an "I" in TEAM. You can have all the stinking powerups, I don't care. It's the lack of courtesy that torques my nuts.
I have gone 11+ waves at times without an INF, or even seeing one. Sometimes it takes time to get what one needs. When I see someone get splattered holding 50 PU's, it's pretty clear what's going on.

Shrine? I went 6-7 waves without getting a single PU, let alone a inf...
There's no ownership on pus until it's in your box. Simple.
I usually just grab them unless it's an artefact or a decent pu that is clearly the other guy's. If I do grab it, and I don't need it, I'll yell it out d=P
Morale of the story : Whining about pu stealing is idiotic. It happens, deal with it
