Yeah, I havent been playing MM much lately cause the server has been havin so many issues. I am lucky to play one whole game in a whole day without it crashing to the default map! Its definitly frustrating cause this is my favroite server, so I hope that it gets better. I was just wondering if joeyz paint zombie all you guys knew what was going on! Hard to have fun these days cause of it. Guess it could just be really REALLY bad timing on my part, but I doubt that cause the server has been consistantly crashing for the last week.

hmm, do you mean map crashing mid-game, or the times a map voted for wins, but seems to go to the default map instead, where no sprees happen for that map?

the latter thing i see happen often, and somehow i can tell it will when it seems map loading is taking extra long. though, i am finding map switching is taking longer than it ever used to, regardless..

but the former issue of crashes in game...i have been playing about 6 hours consecutively a day the past couple weeks, and only once has a map crashed mid-game in these weeks o,,o

I wouldnt say midgame, because it only happens in waves 16-20 usually. It crashes and the default map is loaded very often, 3 games in a row earlier today.

I must admit I have been having it happen within the last month or two from waves 19-20. But I have only gotten 2 critical's the entire time I have been paying.

It's the mapvote thing that gets me - esp. when it's a map we've played time and again, but it fails during the load and takes us back to the default map. ](*,)

last time i got a crit error was in like march

I love the famous votes for the Default map. Those votes gotta make you laugh as if we haven't played them enough.

Its not really the server's fault though if the map crashes. If the map didn't crash we would just bitch that the server shut down and if joey isn't around (hmm....when he went to cali the server was off for how long a week?). You can't win them all but I'll give my vote to defualt map then server being shut down because the map WE voted can't hang with Joeys MODS.

Its not just the server, the internet has been acting crappy these last few days for everyone.

Agreed paint, yahoo games has been horribly laggy too. And dont get me wrong I know that the stuff on the server requires a lot of power so its bound to crash sometimes.
