I need some help on a pair of Video Cards. I know how to read the specs and all. But I'm talking about the things you don't know until you buy. I would like to know about driver issues, heating issues, general fault erros. Give me some ideas on what you have or have heard of being a good drive. I do like evga VC because if you need any adapters or anything the people will help. But give me your O's so I can just buy these damn things and get this computer done.
Thanks ALL in advance[/quote]

I presume your looking at an SLI setup.
What cards are you considering?
Whats your budget?
What MB are you using?
What power supply do you have or are you buying a new one?
evga have really good reviews, though I have never owned one. I have always bought ASUS and XFX.

The 8800 Series cards. The money. (Not really to much concern regarding that)
Mb Setup. nothing below the 320
The power Supply is a Ultra 750 Watt
I have XFX right now but I've used Evga in other peoples computers. Just looking to see what other gamers use because the ones I put in the people will never actaully overdue there computers. I overkilled there systems but its what they asked for.

i'm good. just got a new job in chicago, i'm moving memorial day weekend. consequently i just quit my current job and HOLY SHIT it felt good. :hwsb: plus, my new job is double my current salary, so i've been pricing out a new machine. i too am going to purchase at least one 8800 GTX, and i can't fvcking wait. i'm having a hard time deciding which platform to get though... i've been a long-time AMD fan, but core2 kicks the shiite out of AMD's current offering. i could get a socket am2 and wait for the barcelona stuff, but i dunno..... :hwsb2:
