there are several players who i need not mention names but you know who they are ,it seems they have found a hack or some kind of cheat and they are using them in the game , those few pieces of dirt should be utan banned from the game forever. there is no way any of these players could get scores that they do without some kind of cheat or hack . i feel this matter should be looked into and dealt with now.
IF IT WERE MY SERVER THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN GONE ALONG TIME AGO. BUT IT SEEMS THAT WHEN I BANNED ANYONE THEY SNIVVEL TO JOEY AND THEY GET BACK IN. SO WHATS THE POINT YOU ASK? I THINK THAT THIS ISSUE NEEDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION NOW AND DRASTIC PENALTYS ENFORCED NOW.
SO WHAT ARE YOU ADMINS ANDOTHERS GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

I am not going to bitch or whine, I am going to be nice to the High Scorers, and hopefully be let in on The Secret.

Meanwhile, I have changed my game style to super speeding when possible, and grabbing every PU I see, since it's been determined to be impossible to steal powerups.

Don't worry, I will dump all the useless crap like everyone else does. And the good PU's to my friends.

I am now waiting on The Secret to picking up superweapons, fully loading them with PU's, and scoring like crazy after 4 waves.

I must be doing something wrong, I can't get crap most of the time. You guys hear the sucking noise? That's me, sucking right on up...

there is no secret! playing as much as i have, i know all the strategies, pu configurations, and places on some maps to reside more than others. that and being aggressive and not hiding also help. it is my gametime and trying so much out that has given me the wisdom to share with you which i have in a million places on this forum! i also know when someone hands me a bunch of bull to explain their actions as well

i have come to play with many people now, new and old alike, and times i can't get in or die, i spec everyone i "know" through first person. it is no surprise many do the same things i and tmoney do, for monster choice as well which weapons really to strive for.

so here i add some advice too:
-of regular weapons, try to get a blast cannon or fireball with superforce if something summoned is not better. mp5 is great up until wave 17, where it becomes near useless on further waves but on 20

-use superforce on slower weapons like the aforementioned, as well as on particle gun on larger maps, and if you want extra damage effect like propulsion does, then use a knockback pu as well since it works with superforce

-if you get a slowfoot gun, and you wane the effect gone, switch to another weapon and use speed booster adrenaline combo, let it run out, and you should be back to normal. adding a superpseed pu will also undo slowfoot.

I have actually been doing what you said, and while I haven't been able to score BEEEEEEEGGG! yet, I have noticed a difference. The first 15 waves are almost easy.

Of course, I have been steadily adding points and applying as well... my biggest problem is aim, and I have no problem admitting that.

aim becomes second nature if you don't have much of a reticule on screen. a year or so ago i started to use a simple pink dot as my reticle, and so i now gauge my shots by visual cue more without getting an after image of trying to put a reticule over an enemy. the test to see how well you get with aim comes with using the beamy, linear weapons where this is most important. the visual cue of the beam is strong and you start knowing where it land for each shot, and compensating for misses is much faster.

laser rifle is very hard to use because its not as rapid from shot to shot, but if you can use this weapon well, you know your aim has gotten better. its real hard to use against the army guys compared to wand or enhanced ssr, since you need to land 2-3 shots with it to kill them usually as well. but i favor laser rifle as one of my preferred summons, and a +10 damage and propulsion laser rifle kills queens and most titans in one hit!

oh and i should mention..superforce seems to "kick in" when running forwards or backwards, than standing still. otherwise it seems to go with a force 5 speed. superforce is a bit strange like this, since not every shot is superforced too. but i have come to like it a lot now that sometimes i need to use blast/fireball/particle weapons on a large map since they are all i have thats better than mp5.

i've been using the "little red dot" on UT99 and a small reticule (look ma! no hands... no... MAAAAAA!!!!) on 2k4.

I have used the LR, and yes, I ask for that when the weps chest is opened. Rages, props, etc. Better than a wand.

I find the beam weapons easier, I guess from so long using the zark/sniper rifle. I can put it "on there" most of the time.

A person with 25 posts, who was an Admin for a long time, is just now mentioning hacks in the forums and that something should be done about it? Funny, because if this was a real concern of yours, you would have mentioned it a long time ago. But no, your admin ego powers did as you saw fit to whom kissed your ass or stole powerups from you. If you really cared you would say the names of the people cheating, but noooooo, you can't even do that. Proof that AXE the liar exists.

yeah...the little tiny dot works wonders for your aim
more so than an aim bot too since it doesn't get you banned :roll:
after a couple weeks working with a very small reticule it changed my favorite wep from a spamy minigun to the shockrifle
ohh and back to topic (i guess, seems more like a rant to me)
could you be a bit more clear on what kind of hack that you believe to be used...

On this note, I have but two things to add. Axe, we have had a few difficulties in the past, and even I feel you have abused your powers and should be not just barred from admin, but banned from MM as well. However, I find myself in a moral dilemma as I agree with you about some of the "special scorers". I just don't understand how someone (who just recently posted a score with ss's) can outscore second place by 11k points when they have been playing for the same amount of time. Honestly, you can't tell me everyone sat idle for 18 waves and just watched one person rack up points. I don't care how many logs have been checked, or games have been watched, something's not right. No pu combination is going to give you an 11k point advantage over 14 other ppl. Just my 2 cents. Now, on that note, you guys won't see much of me anymore in game. I have grown bored with the bickering and adolescent bahavior. I came to UT and MM to have fun, play a new game, and make soem new friends. But I have found a lagfest of beggers, whiners, and snobby snotnosed children. To joey and all the admins, you guys are still doing a hell of a job, and I wish you the best in keeping the badass patches coming. And I wish you the best of luck in the future of finally getting to play a full game without interruption or complaints. I have never been long winded so I leave you with this: To those I know on skype, keep in touch, to those I have shared/received items, good luck, and to all those noobs who are just joining, STOP SPAMMING NUKES AND DEEMERS!
