Ever tried updating your bios and video card drivers, even sound drivers? I did the other night and I had zero crashes / lockups yesterday for 2 full games. Just give it a try.

It's usually the video drivers. I try to keep all my drivers current, but that doesn't always work out so well... I've had to "roll back" the video driver because of total lockups.
