hi everyone! i need my help on something because i simply don't know the answer, due to conflicting information on the award pu.

joey posted the info on this pu long before it was in the game. it says it gives 2 extra experience points per kill. here is the forum post covering this:

now, paintbally said in his recent entry for the server that the award pu you only gives 3 more points...for enemy score. this is found here:

i really have no idea how to gauge this in game when so much goes so quick. perhaps the aware pu does do score, because i can see how some higher than normal scores can be got from that, while experience gain seemed like it was just regular experience gain.

and i noticed that sometimes i get the AWARD sound and notification on screen when this is used after awhile having been on the gun for a bit. its real random and seems to just happen once a map. i have no idea if that means anything special either.

i have been using the award pu only with high slot wops since i think it is just a score thing, and i'd rather have more gun-induced strength and protection than scoring high. i had hoped it was experience, since getting 190k to level can take every bit of extra there is :o

My assumption has been that it's random, or malfunctioning. Anyway While testing it, I recieved 25 points upon killing a soldier without the award pu and 28 upon killing one with the award pu(I'll restest this later). Also I noted that with the award pu, scoring 2056 points gave me 2413 experience, however my test on score points and experience without the award pu seems way too skewed so I'll have to retest that... Also I have no clue how the scoring to experience ratio works...
Anyway even if the award pu works I don't see how it can make more than 1000 point difference, I've scored all my 18K, 20K,scores and sole 25K score without it

ooh, you actually were doing a study! thats cool ^,,^ well, i guess it is pointless to really use that pu then if its effect is just nominal, and the high scoring can be done without it. so i will keep on doing what i do, and only use that pu if i have unused slots. there are more important things than that which can go on. thank you for the information you did get thus far :}
