It's a request for the server to seriously question the codes of what it takes to be an Admin. I assume Admins represent the Server itself, and thus this is an important issue.

Unbias/unpartial, fairness, indepth in game knowledge, a personal attitude which reflects the server's ideal attitudes.: these are all standards I look for on any server and I assume I speak for many players beside myself.

On issue of Admin power.

If the server feels somone is cheating, Ut2004 by default has designed the kick vote option for this very issue. Admins should resort to these measures as a last option not an option of first impulses/desire. Bans based on-spot cheating is a thing which relies on interpretation which leads to the abuse of power on some Admins.

On the issue of knowledge.

A person becomes a judge or lawyer because of his/her great knowledge and experience. It's simple: you can't successfully defend, prosecute, and regulate the system and laws without knowing the system and laws. Admins should ideally have these qualities, if not they should take initative to learn them. Admins who make constant mistakes based on there lack of knowledge simply aren't good admins.

On the issure of Attitudes

Admins serve as role models given they're responsiblity over the server. An Admin who shows attitudes which include rude behavior, bias, anger, jealousy, and threats should not be Admin. These attitudes reflect poorly on the server's own attitudes.

Special Conditions:

This server in particular has time based merits and time is a very special thing. This investment of time, makes the server more personal to anyone who plays it. That being said, I think Bans should be placed with the utmost consideration to facts revovling the ban. Admins who flaunt their power of bans/kicking aren't ideal for this server at all.

The admins really do represent the server, when I see a bad admin I make notice to myself the server chose this admin, seeing him/her as ideal to represent/regulate the server.

However this is my humble opinion and I am honored to be even able to share these opinions which I was inspired to write due to my recent distress and the distress of my fellow players.

Well said blue all of it and i agree 100 percent the removal of players by an admin with no explaination is wrong and it seems to happen with 1 admin no name needed!

usually when i am on, i dont see any admins abusing there rights. I usually see them kicking people out for the reason it states in the rules. If its who I think you are talking about border he has gotten alot better. Most of the time I'll see someone just idling on a full server and ask them 4 or 5 times if they are there and then I'll ask an admin to kick them so someone else can get on. I try to help out so that way the admin who is on can play and not have to worry about things since I seem to get nailed in the back or crushed alot.

Even if i was to get kicked two or three times a week for a game its still well worth it to stay here.Ive played hear for two years and if i didnt find this server i would not even play ut2004 anymore.I want all the admins to know i think your work here is A plus and for me there is no other server that even comes close.Also the group of people here tha tgo out of there way to help others i salute you M3rc Oznog Drac Reyalp Mrs D Budda Hicky hell the list goes on and on.These people makes the server what it is.And i want to take this time to apoligize to all ive offended in past most of whom ive squashed it already.And please new people ask for pus it ok and if i have to give you will get them.Just incase some1 reads this that has some make it happen skills i would love to see the widowmaker again please!

But yeah, along with border I too have been here for over two years and just like he said I wouldn't be here if it weren't for this server.

Players are one thing, they're allowed to be jerks : ). My concern isn't about vendetas or anything, it's about seeing this server lead a successful, fun future. I don't like seeing my fellow players intimidated when they don't have to, or having their "fun" stricken out because of authority's abuse of power.

New players constantly come and go, and it is a shame to loose them because of few first bad experiences with authority on this server.

Cheating: I've been accused of cheating before, both in real life and other games. I've even been wrongly banned in the past for it.
To someone like me it's highlly offensive, it cheapens my work ethic and my beliefs.

I've even temporarily lost reputation/respect in real life for such bias accusations on me...

Alas all I'm tryin to say is I hate seeing power misused, it can cause some pretty bad things.

Nothing in this world is perfect but there are always small steps we can take to get there.

And Yes I love this server too, it has added a much needed joy to my life! I never expected to meet so many colorful people.

cad, really, if you are pissed about that, try to join a good (i-)ctf-clan, playin in whatever high leagues exist in america, im sure your expieriences about analyzing things, strategies etc will help you there, your aim too, even when you say from yourself you arent that good, but if you need to be an attested good player, you only can get back your "reputation", if you really think you lost it, by playin really hardcorelike on cheatprotected servers
in clanwars where its 99,99% impossible to hack/cheat etc without beeing catched! here on this server it will be hard, doesnt matter whoever say you dont cheat. i had more fun in br, i played too much ctf in ut99, but after more and more european-br-servers closed cause of most players changed to ons and a$$, i was bored about both, ctf and br, so i changed to a$$ for a while, but more and more, incl. clans, played more and more trialmaps, which wasnt my thing, so im here now, but anyways, it can be fun long time too esp when you find leagues where you play more than only 3 standardclanwarmaps
