Well everyone has had a few days to try out UT3s Demo.

I like it.........Great graphics and smooth game play. :supz:

And I can't wait to play it again,Hopefully Epic (or GameSpyware) will fix the server browser before it hit's store shelfs.So I voted for option 1 (me being a fan of Unreal 226f(or gold) and UT99 i WANT this game badly) :drinkers:

Besides the graphics, newer engine, deemer, walker, and hover board....everything else pretty much sux. If this is UT3 than UT2k4 is UT4, because it sure feels like we went 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Horrible GUIs. Ok, it doesnt suck that bad, I am upset with the third world country menu.

Alright joey, open yer wallet and get a decent graphics card........then turn up all the eyecandy. An 8800 GTX is yer friend :supz:

Dude thats why some games are failing bad today. If people spent less time worry about graphics and more on gameplay we wouldn't be having this discussion...

And either way I can't run the demo. I need to upgrade my PC..

Ahhhhhhhh............Well, welcome to PC life...........That's the way it is and it will continue to be that way because consumers like me DEMAND more "Eyecandy"........

Oooh! We get a walker AND a hoverboard? PWOO! :-P !!BS!! Sure, the graphics were impressive, but it's UT at the core, with a couple new bells and whistles added. Gameplay is just as it has always been in UT - and I honestly think they're just waiting for the mod'ders to take it over like they (the modders) did with UT2k4.

Eyecandy is good, yessss - I will admit this - it's the major reason why I will be purchasing UT3...

BUT "gameplay" is indeed also a necessity for a great game. One reason I recently purchased The Orange Box.

I was a big fan of TF "back in the day" and have missed it terribly. TF2 is exactly as it was then, just with better graphics, more player classes, and stat tracking; though not what many would call "eyecandy" - simply put, the graphics are pretty much modern-cgi-cartoonish - a-la the promo videos you have seen for this game. Very many of those action shot we say look like they were taken from directly in-game. So far, so good - it's everything I expected, and am glad I purchased it. I'll have to see how the community there develops. And of course I'll have to work my way through the Half-Life saga, too! ;-)

However - my first and foremost love has been and always will be RPG. Sure, there's not so much of the HTG roleplaying here, but that's all good, cuz I've always enjoyed blowing stuff up in my video games, too. Which is why I will continue to play here for as long a Joeyz will have it up, and always await with baited breath whatever sort of psychotically torturous game developmemts he has waiting to unleash upon us in the future - and hopefully live through and entire map at least once after every update!

Ohhh, I'll continue to play here too.........but, not only for the RPG, but....the people who play on the server too.......Made alot of friends here.

well, after not being able to wait for UT3 to come out, guess i'll not be able to wait for the modders to make it ut2k4
so as for the vote i'ld pick a mix of 1,2,and 5
can't wait to get it, wish it had a tinsy bit more 2k4 feel, and as always rootin' for joey!
but since i can't have it all ... Joeyz forever!
