Sentinels Kill!!!

Yes, that's right everyone!! The new sentinels on the server do kill!! And I'm not just talking about killing monsters, they also have the potential to kill other players. I've known this about sentinels for quite a long time, but I've noticed in game, that many other players do not know this.

When using a sentinel deployer, it is possible to drop a sentinel on another player and Team Kill that player. In addition, if you are deploying to close to a wall or ceiling, it can easily be deployed on yourself, killing you in the process as well.

Dropping a sentinel on another player is called "Team Killing" a.k.a. "TK" and just so no one is confused, a "TK / Team Killing" is the sister offense to "Telefragging" =; Team Killing, just like telefragging, can and will get you in trouble. :stupid:

So, please be aware of where you are placing your sentinel!!! Cause if admins catch you TK'ing other players with it, your punishment would be the same as telefragging....and that means there may be a banning in your future!!

If you're not sure how to deploy a sentinel without killing yourself or someone else, then by all means.....practice on yourself..by yourself!! Test out sentinel deployer in an area away from other players, I guarantee that it won't take you long to figure out how to deploy it without killing yourself, or anyone else in the process!!

i often ask me if someone read "this", because i allways recognice players doing "no-no"-things which are announced in loadingscreens not to do ...like "players who telefrag others with trans or sents will be banned..."

i have been resurrected/killeed by these before, though i believe they were by accident..i at least hope so

boo to sentinels anyhow!

(also, i have no idea how to use or set them up since i never cared to bother)

Its only an offense if the person you are doing it to complains right?(recalls playing "Tag" with m3rc when Sents were first introduced)

I've seen players purposefully try to drop a sentinel on a player back when they were unlimited. They deserve an instant on-the-spot, unexplained, indefinite ban so hard their future infants would feel it, particularly to non-regular players, they're always the biggest trouble-makers on the server before they disappear into the crowd again. *IRONFISTTYRANNY* =)

Yeah, a long time ago I mighta TKed 1 person with a sent (granyed that was a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago) but I admitted my mistake and said sorry, and I think I gave the guy my gun, anyways I dident know you could kill YOURSELF with one...
