I think things in blood eventually get filtered out or broken down. Like with meds they pump in blood, gotta leave same way probably.

Gold (as was used in the CGI simulation) is one of the many naturally-occurring elements within the body. I would assume that, like many other such elements within the body, if there is an excess, then it is evacuated via urine - that is, provided your kidneys are functioning properly.
