Noobs, thieves, Zsound spammers, and idiots.

Recently theres been alot of crap happening while no admins are on ( well if they were on nothing was done). And no im not talkin about PU thieves (since rules plainly say that it is NO ONES PU TILL ITS PICKED UP).
Here's what im talkin about.
People asking,
"how to toss pu?"
"how to unload weapon?"
"how to turn off auto-taunt?"
"Gimme a wop plz" (on the last waves 19-20 when they just joined.)
"Can i get some pu?" (on the last waves 19-20 when they just joined.)
Other players and my self told them to RTFM! they did not and continue to ask.
Zound spammers, (either repeatedly or every so often after wave 15 )
"PPK"
"Santana"
"Wildboys"
"Jeezy"
"50cent"
People tell them to stop, some do, some dont. then continue on the next map.
And thieves..
(Player1) hey can i get a copy of that Rocket 10x?
(player2) sure meet at rocket , (has a semi-fully loaded rocket.)
(Player2) :: tosses Rocket to "Player1" to juggle. ::
(Unknown Noob) :: pushes Player1 and takes the rocket ::
(Player 1 & 2) WTF!?
..sadly this has happened twice on my return..
nothing was done...
So i strongly urge that we pass protect the game server, and have the new people read the forum rules in order to get the password.
So then they will have knowledge of how to .. Toss, Unload, and know not to spam zounds after wave 15...
and better yet.. prevent another weapon being stolen -_-

Instead, why not have a rules popup/dialogue with a 25 second or so delay before you can agree. The basic info, keybinds, and rules would be there for all to read on their first entrance to the server. After the first time it would only appear maybe once a month or for each different player name. This way we could still have newbies read the rules, yet not have any new (or old) people pushed away by a password.
That's my 2cents, but it is ultimately the decision of the admins whether or not to do anything.

I'm with Arch - should be more choices. I think there are different levels to how much of a pita a person can be at the start. There is a bit diff between people asking a question or two ever match then what Amy was (what I think) talking about.

Actually...........after rethinking this thread.........I think it's unnecessary and I think the server stays as it is.
Noobz ask questions and we just have to deal with it. Period. I don't want any veterans acting like asshats to noobz just because they ask some questions.

most have no problems with "questions", doesnt matter if its "how to ...[do anything here]..." or if someone want know the time or w/e..
it doesnt matter if its a lvl10-noob who ask how do i keybind this or that or if its a lvl220 who stopped playin for 3 month, now playin again and forget
some binds cause of a new install or w/e...
the problem is askin the same question every 5 seconds....
most who allways try to help, help when they can. once.
maybe a second time for better understanding. but if it ends in spam because they dont (want) read, or dont (want) pay attention, (well, in some cases i can understand they have better things to do than reading help-hints while they try to survive against a little lvl300-"fly"), EVEN WHEN THEY ARE DEAD AND HAVE TIME TO READ, THEY DONT! thats the next problem..
btw, i agree with quester and the popup, or something like that, similar to
some anti-cheat-protections, which announce you you have to update to latest patch or you cant play on this server. and a timer runs 20 seconds
after 20 seconds you got kicked...
maybe in our case something like that can be made, because of the data-base the server should know "new" players, and so a popup can be displayed with the most important rules and the 3 most important keybinds ("use" / "toss" / "scroll") and how to set them, with a xx-second timer to read every rule, after that the new player have 10seconds time to agree and the next rule appears for xx seconds, or if he dont agree, be kicked, with the information: read the rules/homepage first...
maybe it sounds to hard, but this popups should appear till the new player is ,,,, lvl 30 ? 40? it should not be made to piss noobs off, but maybe it helps to dont piss us off...
just to complete the "longplaying"-zound-list: renaming of the "maria"-zound would be nice, sorry but its nerving sometimes too when its wave 17-20 and late-joiners call marias name when they want or have pus/weps and the zound was played "accidently" (many times...)

I don't think the patch thing would be needed since I think they need it to download some of the files anyway otherwise they wouldn't even be able to get past the downloading to play. But I do think some sort of help menu should be there for quick reference, maybe a help button in level up screen that just states bind keys, a few quick rules (along with some tips to help keep them from ticking other players off), maybe even a link to forums, and some gameplay tips.
Also remember that brand new players don't instantly know the forums website or the rules and most of the time, they want to play now, learn later, so that means they want to ask questions to help them play and just live, of course, all our new players pretty much always die for a while which sometimes have a really negative effect upon their leaving.
I don't like the idea of password protection cause that would hurt us getting new players since people are looking for servers to easily join and have fun, not guess a password or go through the hassle of signing up on a forums or looking at a website just so they can play a server which they may not come to like with the way its set up.
Now the zound spammer are annoying and I wish kick voting was more effective for handling this. Same with those who just spam messages.
Someone begging for a weapon and asking for a weapon can be quite different. Begging for a weapon usually seems to be from annoying low levels who spam messages and zounds and usually end up dead soon after. While asking is when someone wants to jug a better weapon or get a certain kind of weapon. It does getting annoying listening to them go, "Someone give me weapon plz" and they ask every wave instead of just grabbing weapons and going from there. They also don't seem to say much other asking for weapon or pus. Just find one and see if they ever say anything different or even start an actual conversation on the server. Which ties into them just wanting to play and do nothing else really.
Ok, I ranted out what I feel and don't want to sound negative or mean, helping new players is good but having to constantly tell someone something or having them ask over and over again just gets to some of us (obviously

)

ok, yeah, sorry i was jus pissed cause lately i been seeing spams of beggin and zounds..
But i do agree with quester having a pop-up when first joining the server, at hopefully shine light on the people who doest know how to make key-binds and know the general rules of the server...
