Look no further!

I think I did an awesome job for under 1 grand, $849.56 to be exact. To put things into perspective, Intel's top processor is $1550. I just priced out a whole Tower for less than half of that. Tell me what you guys think.

not trying to bash, i have read alot of bad things about the Q8200, and for $20 more you can get the 9800gtx ,case and psu are sweet, if i were trying to save money and get top speed i would go with the e8400. rest looks sweet, i like the look of that case and almost got me one, thoe i opted for the antec 900. great price on the ram. as long as you are running vista. all in all it is a very good build for the money, great job : )

P.S. the bottom line will be less when you sell the PSU that comes with the case, on ebay : )

Allright I re-considered the ram and found this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820145184

Its cheaper than what I picked out except it has a CAS latency of 5 and the one I picked out had 4. I read online that a 4 cas latency is the best, can anyone explain to me what I should go for?

Also I looked at the dual core processor. Why run a dual core when you can use a quad core? Also, why go from the 1gb 9800gt to a 512mb 9800gtx?

Keep in mind, I AM NOT INTERESTED IN OVER CLOCKING. I am sure I will break something....also I only plan to use standard fan cooling.

as far as for cas latency lower is much better, but are you going to be running windows vista, if not you will not be able to us a 4 gb pair, you can but, you will only see 3-3.5 gig's of it and it eats up resurces, because of the way XP alocates. (somewhat hard to explain that one) i have a link here to show you the diffrance between the two vid cards, it does a great job in explaining the diffrance. and by the way that ram you picked is nice, thoe i went with the OCZ sli and have been able to get very nice timings out of it i have the pc-8500 2X1gb and have timeings of 3-3-3-9-12 that is very , very good ! on a side note, ram that purforms better has a noticable diffrance in the over all speed of your pc, like arch said , spending more money on the ram is well worth it. if you will not be doing any OC'ing then by all means go with the q8200. the price is not bad at all and it is ready for games and programs when the start making use of the extra cores, hope i have been of some help ; )

the new ram, and that was just a quick serch for a compairason. i assure you that the 9800gtx is better you can go to NVIDIA.com and read the answer given by NVIDIA on the same question "what is the diffrance between the 9800 gt and the 9800 gtx ? " i will go look now to see if i can find it, i read that same question this weekend
