Gas prices in my area at $2.07?

Post by BaronVonRotterdam » Tue Nov 18, 2008 8:01 pm

It must be the apocolaypse, or im dreaming. How the heck can the gas be this low? I read it has something to do with the elections but its still down even after Obama won. If it goes under $2 then I wouldn't know what to do with myself. It was almost $5 here about 1-2 months ago. I hope this change stays for a long time.

Here in GA it's $1.82 and in SC it's $1.78 (that's where I usually get my gas). Well, since demand dropped so much and the price per barrel is well under $60.......

Heh prices in Colorado dropped under $2, so it feels good to have prices more than halved :).

You know Scion, I love your name... what was the inspiration?
Anyway I was surprised as well when 20 bucks seemed to fill my gas tank over half.

I felt they were driven up by a lot of speculation over the past few months. Might not have been a bad thing either since there has been a larger push for alternative energy and transport because of it. The high prices also dented demand for gas which has yet to come back up with lower prices, and now because of the economic shock demand isn't rising too much; so we may see these prices keep going lower before they finally settle.

Oh...and getting 250miles for under $50 again, is just plain awesome ^.^

The price per gallon is about $2.10 per gallon BUT there is only one gas supplier for the entire state of idaho.

Heh Cad, I had that name for years, I think as far back as 3 years. And it wasn't originally mine, same as the UT2004 CD isn't mine (its my brother's). I just kept the name cause thats the one he was using when he used to play (he doesn't any more) on his computer, which I had to use in order to play. And stats are kept by name so I just kept using it :P. Also, its easier for people to remember me by one name, though in a lot of other places I go by the name of Xearis.
