Smoke bombs

I bought some Potassium Nitrate a few weeks ago and it finally came in the mail. So Paint and I made some Smoke Grenades here were our results.

(I am the one with the really bad laugh and the one lighting them. Paint is the one talking.)

I still got more potassium nitrate ware that came from. so me and paint are trying to make the perfect smoke grenade.

Haha.......I remember when I was a kid (waaaaaay back in the late 60's) I did the same thing but with better results. I just went up to the local pharmacy and told them my mom wanted some saltpeter for my dad and we got a decent size bottle for a couple of bucks. Made some pretty good smoke bombs out of it by just putting a hand full in a paper towel and wading it up.
