you will find some hints to tweak your user.ini and ut2004.ini in
atari-ut2k4-forum in "Troubleshooting & Technology" to improve some things incl. loading time.
you only need to know where to find (system-folder in your ut2k4-folder)and how to open and edit user/ut2k4.ini in a simple texteditor. make sure creating a copy of both first, cause many things are depending on what machine you have, so some might work good for ya and some not. give it a try.
btw, loading time to enter faster a game, or loading time till your ut starts?

but i bet this is only for the real hardcoregamercontesters, who can announce: i am the best, now i have 178,45 fps in that special
lagging map while others who didnt change anything have 177...
